OK, regardless of settings, it kept doing that.

I downloaded GPU-Z 0.4.4, and it seems that when I play CoH, the card overheats. I was sitting outside the mission I had crashed in, doing nothing, and the temp kept going up. When it went over 100, bam. Shutdown.

I am not happy. *sigh*

How so?

It's nice, but I'd rather Most Recent was still first in the list.

You already belong to a Super Group. You're either a member of the The Resistance Super Group, or a member of The Loyalists Super Group.

OK, my replacement PSU arrived today, so I'm now up and running.

First thing I did was go to nVidia and download the latest drivers, installed them, and rebooted. So far so good.

Then I tried to run CoH...

The "Loading..." image appeared on my desktop, and stayed there. I wasn't paying much attention to it, but then something caught my eye: it was still semi-transparent. Then I found I couldn't move my mouse. My keyboard didn't respond, either. I had to flip the power switch on the back of the PSU so I could restart.

Windows wanted to know if I wanted to start in Safe Mode. I chose to start normally, and it didn't fully boot. Before the Welcome to Windows screen, I saw the mouse cursor with the busy icon showing, and it sat there, not animated or movable. Flip the switch, and restart again.

Didn't even make it that far. Black screen. Nothing happened. Reboot again, start in Safe Mode. Everything starts fine. Reboot from the Start Menu, and got back into Windows. Ran CoH, and it loaded up. Logged in, selected my character, and proceeded to start cranking up the graphics settings.

CRASH!!

Screen went black, and then my monitor showed the message, "Monitor going to sleep".

Messing with the settings continues to do that to me, but I'm gonna try narrowing it down, so I can see what setting is causing the issue.

Other than that, so far so good.

Hello, Z, and welcome to both City of Heroes and the Guardian Server!!

The best thing you can do is join the Guardian Global Chat Channel:

Type /chanjoin Guardian and press Enter.

You'll have to find an Op online and send a /tell to them asking to be unsilenced. To see the list of who is in the channel, click on Friends, and at the top of the little window that opens, it will say Server. Click on that, and it should give you a drop down menu with the channels you belong to listed. Click on Guardian.

Anyone with a white square to the left of their name is silenced. Anyone with a star to the left of their name is an Op.

To send a tell to them, type this:

/t @<NAME>, Hello. Can I please be unsilenced in Guardian? Thank you!!

Replace <NAME> with the name you see with the star to the left of it. For example, if Pennelope was on, you'd type this:

/t @Pennelope, Hello. Can I please be unsilenced in Guardian? Thank you!!

OK, I was wondering why I didn't get Agent Of Chaos/Order/Praetoria after the launch yesterday. Today, my copies of GR showed up, and after I "upgraded" my accounts, the badge stated awarding.

So, it works like V.I.P./Destined One: Upgrade your account with Going Rogue to unlock the badge.

I'm guessing that anyone who Pre-Purchased has been getting the badge on characters since the servers came up yesterday.

The Resistance Member you need to talk to is Rothstein. He'll be on an elevated pile of debris.

Cryptic didn't do anything to it. Paragon Studios essentially disabled it working when they added the ability to put [Item Info] into chat to make it clickable, e.g., [Power Boost], [Awaken], [Luck Charm].

Yup. It's a 3 part explore badge. You have to hit it in the CTA in all three zones: Nova, Imp, and Neut.

This was brought up in the Closed Beta. And, it seems it was never fixed.

Oh bacon yes!! We really do need more APPs, AND they need to thematically match the existing powersets. TriElec Tankers, TriPistols Defenders, TriSpines Scrapp... wait... that one might be kinda silly... who cares?

Yes, more thematic APPs would be wonderful.

Another issue, with more badges, and another round of the /settitle numbers getting moved all over the place. I'm not sure if Beef has updated the /settitle numbers yet, but Snow Globe has them listed here.
