You should also have done the Resistance Warden arcs. At 14, my Loyalist Scrapper already has 4/5 done, and is closing in on another 2 more choices. Would have been 3 more, but I inadvertantly fell victim to the Interrogator Kang/Doctor Steffard trap. >.<

Although it's easy to miss in all the drama in the patch thread, it seems pretty possible that the Nukes were removed due to an exploit.

As I said there: If that's the case, that's a fair reson to remove them. However, if they hadn't made it so stupid hard in the first place, there probably never would have been a Nuke Exploit...

I'm also going to throw my hat in the ring, and offer a mirror to download the file from. If there's a bandwitdh limit on the site I'm using, I have no idea what it is. So, if you get a message about it, send me a PM. I have a few other places I can upload to.

Everyone else has pretty much covered how I feel. The No Nukes on CoP is ******* ******** retarded, uncalled for, unwanted, and unnessecary. The problem isn't the Nukes, it's the broken piece of WoW that is the GM.

Devs hate Huge modles.

Ah, OK. I know that at the time I first ventured into SS, it was the Dreaded Rage Crash. So, even though I didn't know what, exactly, it did, that initially kept me from making an SS character.

I didn't even realize it had been changed when I made my SS/WP Brute, until after I hit 50.

OK, my new card showed up before I had to leave for work this morning. Installed it, removed my drivers, and installed the 258.96 drivers. Downloaded and installed EVGA Precision, and set it to show the GPU temp in the System Tray. Loaded up CoH, and couldn't log in. Servers were down for maint. Sadly, they didn't come back up before I had to leave.

One thing I was able to observe was that while I was idling at the Log In Screen, the temp of the card wasn't steadily climbing towards 100° C. That was a good sign.

After getting home from work, I loaded up CoH, and logged in my level 50 /Regen Scrapper, who is in Port Oaks. Cranked up my settings to Ultra Mode, and maxed everything out. Ended up with an average FPS of about 12-15 FPS. Dropped a few things down, and averaged about 30-35 FPS, with my aura, cape, Integration, Super Jump, Sprint, and Super Speed toggled on. Not bad.

Logged out, and loaded up my level 14 Praetorian Scrapper, who is in Imperial City. Got an average FPS of 25-30 while running around, and an average 50-55 FPS while in a mission on the new Lab map, which is a map that always floored my FPS to around 5-7 FPS.

The entire time, I never saw my temp reported as being higher than 68° C.

So yes, I'd say I had a faulty card.

I'm sure I'll need to tweak it to get optimal settings, but overall, I'm glad I bought this card. If you can afford it, I say go ahead and buy this card. It's pretty awesome. And EVGA support kicks much ***.
