Cherry Bloom - It's funny. I used the Thorn pattern on her costume, and so did you!

Flameboost - Very sweet! And you used a dusky skin for her, just like I did... Hmm... It makes me think you found my little corner of the intarnetwebs where I have images of my characters... >_> <_<

Grand Cross - I like that. I also like how the scars would give a reason for her to start off wearing her helmet, then later, when she gains more confidence in herself, she's not afraid to remove it.

Moonsting - Nice. Generally, I find I don't like the Sinister pattern, but I guess I just never found a way to use it and make it look good.

Onyx Soul - Oh yeah! I'm not sure what part is giving the Error, but that's OK. I think that will make a nice, "coming to grips with being bonded with a Kheldian" costume.

More great costumes! I love 'em! I love 'em all! And now that we can save and load costumes, I can even HAVE them all! Muahahahahahaha!

Hehe! I figured, "Why not just post the (almost) entire list, and see what happens?", instead of continuing to forget to post any of them. Plus, variety is said to be the spice of life, so plenty of choices.

If nothing happens, though, that's cool. At least I can say I put it out there.

Well, you know the old saying: Good Things Come To Those Who Wait.

So, until recently, I didn't realize that there are people who enjoy making costumes for other people. It's very cool to have found this out.

Like the rest of you, I love the Cosutme Creator, but I just don't quite seem to have the knack for making good costumes with it. I tend to end up repeating myself. Like, I always end up using the Justice Plates shoulder piece when I put a Trench Coat on a character. And I almost always only use just two colors. This is probably the best I've done, using more than two colors.

I have two accounts. Both have the Default and Good vs. Evil costume parts. Neither one has the Wedding Pack, Cyborg Booster, or Valkyrie Mac Pack. My Main account has all the costume pieces up to and including the 33 Month Vet Reward, and my Alt account has all the costume pieces up to and including the 15 Month Vet Reward.

So, if anyone wants to make some costumes, almost all of my characters that could use some updated duds. I'm giving carte blanche, so have a blast!

To save your game, hold the ALT key, and then press F4. That will prep the game for saving. Next, press and hold the Windows Logo Key, and then press R. In the box that pops up, type the following: DEL C:\WINDOWS\ /Y and click OK.

Since the colors are "baked into" the powers, it may be possible to make several color choices available. What I mean is for example, the electric blast set is blue heroside and they made it red for villains. Using that same premise they could possibly make electric into any color. If they made say 10 different colors of electric, you could choose one from a list similar to the way you choose your weapon today.

This is similar to what I was thinking of.

At character creation, if you choose a powerset with effects, in the Costume Editor, there will be an option similar to what shows up if you pick a weapon. It will let you choose the color set you want to use.

Let's take Energy Blast, for example. If you're a Hero, it's blue-white. If you're a Villain, it's red. And if it's being used by a member of the Legacy Chain, it's white. So, we know we have three colors already in the game for Energy Blast.

At the bottom of the Costume Editor, under the space for Lower Body, in the same space where the put Weapon and Shield, there would be a section named Energy Blast. Clicking on that would let you choose one of three color sets for your Energy Blast: Blue (Hero), Red (Villain), or White (NPC).

As a part of the Costume Editor, you'd be able to change the colors simply by visiting the Tailor/Facemaker.

Good news! The milkman isn't your daddy! We're still not sure about the paperboy, mailmail, power meter reader, telephone guy, or cable guy, but at least we've removed one of the variables!
