I believe that this is leaking over from the upcoming Mission Architect that is Issue 14. I've seen another thread about this, and IIRC, that was the common agreement about this.

I think it all depends on what's being done in the drawing. There are some things that Chibi just won't work for. I mean, do you really think that if Boris Valejo had done a chibi version of the poster for National Lampoon's Vacation, it would have looked good? On the other hand, and there are other things where Chibi is the best choice.

While I'm not a fan of Animé in and of itself, if there's a good drawing done in an animé style, I'll admire it, and maybe even... "collect" it...

So, yeah, it all depends on the subject, IMO.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'm gonna go scour the intarwebs for moar arts by Boris Valejo, Julie Bell, and maybe even Alex Ross.
