Ah, but images in sigs ARE limited in size and dimensions!

Actually, you can click on any post. Unless you're quoting, it doesn't really matter.

I know it's too late to know this now, but you COULD make the UBB one bigger. In your user settings page, there was an option to set the number of rows and columns that it had. I used it to enlarge mine.

Heck, if you use the Full WYSIWYG editor here, you can expand THIS one, too, by clicking the littleicon to the far right, or decrease it by clicking the littleicon. :P

Meanwhile, the forums STILL! seem to have that damned lag problem. Click a link and wait. And wait. And wait s'more! But, OTOH, it no longer seems to eat your post if you're attempting to preview it and it decides to lag!

Here's a Step By Step Guide For Making Pretty Sigs!

The first thing you need to do is go to the User CP and go to Settings & Options -> Edit Options in the column on the left. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous Options section at the bottom, and make sure your Message Editor Interface is set to Enhanced Interface - Full WYSISYG Editing. If it's already set to that, great! If not, set it, and click the Save Changes button.

After you make sure it's set to Full WYSIWYG, go to Setting & Options -> Edit Signature.

To add an image, use the [IMG][/IMG] tags. Type the URL to the image between them. Clicking the Preview button will convert that into an image in both the Preview section, and in the editor.

Example: [img]http://websitename.com/folder/image.png[/img]

To make an image into a link, put [url][/url] tags around the [IMG][/IMG] tags.

Example: [url=http://www.google.com/][img]http://websitename.com/folder/image.png[/img][/url]

To add color, simply select (or highlight, depending on the term you like... :P) the text you want to color. Then click on the big with a black line under it and little down pointing arrow to the right of it. That's your Color Picker. Click the little square that is the color you want. Then, move your cursor off the text to unselect/unhighlight it, and you'll find it has a color!

You can also use that to add color to any links you post. So, instead of a link looking like City of Heroes Website, you can make it look like City of Heroes Website or even CityofHeroesWebsite. :P

You ARE limited to a MAXIMUM of 5 lines, and anything that gets linewrapped to a new line WILL count as an additional line if it's long enough. For example, my sig counts as 5 lines, because the WarWitch quote is so long that it wraps to the next line, and almost wraps to a third line.

My artistic skillz were depleted making my sig image. If I had more art skillz, I'd make me a few images, and use a script to display a random one. The script is the easy part. :P

You can. My homepage/startpage is a local file on my HDD, with links to sites I visit all the time. For the forums here, my link points to http://boards.cityofheroes.com/forumdisplay.php?f=547 and that works just fine.

Avatar, Birthday, Timezone, and Subscribed Threads. Those was easy to fix.

Sig made it just fine, but I've now upgraded it.
