Heh. It's not actually broken. It just seems that it doesn't track past 99:59:59.

Quote:That would be this:Don't forget the "temp power" newbie ranged attack you get.
Personally, I occasionally use them to pull on Melee characters.Quote:First off, all origins have different inherent powers. All of them do ranged low ranged damage, but their damage types and additional effects, like -res or -dam, differ from origin to origin. They're pretty weak, though, so by the time you can slot something decent into your powers, the inherent powers will have outlived their usefulness. Generally, I stop using them at about level 12 when I get DOs.
I also call them Permanent Origin-Based Temporary Powers, since they're still listed under Temporary Powers, even though they no loger are (temporary).

Today is KomradeKommunism's birthday!
Happy Birthday, KK!

And that time is waaaaay off, 'cause we broke the timer... It should closer to 450 hours.
The original team consisted of Pepsi, Mr. Ultimate, Golden... umm... I'm sure it's supposed to be Golden Guardian, but that's not how it's spelled..., and myself.
About 2.5 weeks ago, Pepsi wanted to do a Posi on his Blaster. Since he'd helped me with my latest fiddeh, I thought it wouldn't hurt to return the favor...
I no longer remember why we didn't finish it, but it then got pre-empted for Double XP Week. Tonight, Pepsi, Mr. Ultimate, and I were all on, so the three of us finished it, spawned for four. Team wipes happened. Fun was had. A badge and merits were earned.
And I'd probably do it again.

Whoever keeps giving you negative rep is a coward. They don't have the guts to leave their name.
Essentially, they're just attention-*******. We still love you, FrozenDeath!

...
*facepalm*
That's just silly, Agg! It'll never work!

The thumbtack that you can add to the map has never been 100% reliable. I've tried to put one on myself, and found it anywhere but there. I've placed one in other places, and found it waaaaay above the map, floating in the air, or apparently off the map, as I could never see it.
I honestly couldn't say if it's related or not, but it is a PITA.

No mention of the Mercy Island bug. Is that the Official List, or just a list that you've been keeping track of every time a redname says, "known issue"?
-
But that door is not the problem. The problem comes from the doors that lead inside the building for the mission before. There's something about those doors that causes ANY waypoint to become messed up, and point directly back to them.

One of these days, I'm gonna find that Dance Gun! And then... Paragon City and the Rogue Isles better WACHOUT!

42 month vet.
I've never done a Hami Raid. My server is very elitist about them. If one specific person isn't running it, or if someone who hasn't been sanctioned by that person tries to run it, nobody will bother to come. And they won't even try to do a Villain Hami Raid, regardless of who leads it. It's just as bad for RWZ Ship Raids, except if a member of a specific SG isn't running it, nobody will come.
I've never done the the new 5th Column T/SF, never done ANY of the Villain SFs except Silver Mantis, and never done any of the Master Of T/SFs.
I've never done the Dr. Quarterfield, Mender Lazarus, Mender Silos, Sara Moore, or Faathim the Kind TFs.
I've never did the Cathedral of Pain Trial or a Villain Respec Trial.
I've never launched a Warburg rocket.
I haven't run all of the Kheldian or SoA Arcs.
I've never made use of the Dual Builds system. I've made plans for it, but never used it.
I've never gone into a PvP Zone for the singular purpose of participating in PvP. I've gone there for the badges, and on the first STF I was on, we all went to get Shivans.
I've never participated in an Arena Event. I did load up both of my accounts, and attempt to earn the Lanista badge in a rated Gladiator match, but I didn't get it.
I've never been able to get any of the Ski Slope Badges. -
I have. I wasn't able to click on either the Fortunada or the Arbiter in St. Martial last night while I was teaming.

By default, screenshots don't show the UI. You have to enable it every time you log in via the / command /screenshotui 1
I wish it was persistant.

No offense taken, and none intended in my reply. I make them on Test first because that's just the way I am. For me, that's what the Test Server is for - Trying out new builds for existing characters, checking out new characters to see how I like them, and occasionally, helping test an event or beta test a new issue.
Then, too, I don't have to worry about the hardest part of making a character: Coming up with a name that isn't taken. I just name my characters by their powersets, like FireDark or FireDark Test. Once I'm pretty sure I want to make the character on Live, I copy the costume and power files to my Live folder, and then spend 1-2 hours trying different names, searching the internet for variations, and wanting to yell at whoever took MY name.

Thanks all! I'm glad you enjoy'd!
It's one thing to have the idea floating around in your head, but another thing to try to translate it to costumes, and then words. I had to reference Paragon Wiki a few times while writing up the post. I forgot Sunstorm and Shadowstar's names (and did again... had to check my first post while typing this... >.<), and that Moonfire is a Kheldian. I always think of Moonstar when I think of Moonfire...
I really wish that we could change the contact character in AE Arcs. I could tell this story, and have Kheldarn as the contact, and change his costume each time you visit him. Ah well. Maybe one day...
Umm... that would be Savannah Nightwolf, my first fiddeh... -
And the one under the shield of the crashed ship in the RWZ. And probably the Ace badge in the RWZ, too... >_>

I've had this idea in my head for awhile now, but only tonight did I finally get around to actually doing it... *cough*lazy*cough*

Kheldarn is a Broadsword/Willpower Scrapper. His bio reads:
Kheldarn purchased what he thought was just a standard replica sword. Once he got it home, however, he discovered that it had a mind of its own. The sword thrists for blood, and has cursed Kheldarn, causing him to use it as much as possible.
Since he's cursed, Kheldarn decided that he might as well attempt to become a Hero. The sword wants him to be a Villain, however. It's become a contest of wills. So far, Kheldarn's willpower has bested the sword, but he's not sure how long he can continue to overcome it...
And here is is first costume:

For his second costume, the Sword's will starts to overpower Kheldarn's, and begins to change him:

At this point, Kheldarn knows that he can not fight the will of the Sword without help. He goes to War Witch, who determines that the sword is posessed by a demon. After learning this, he goes to talk to Infernal.
After explaining his situation to him, Infernal does some reasearch on the Sword, and isn't pleased with what he finds. He contacts War Witch to confirm his findings, and then tells Kheldarn that the only way to rid the sword of the demon is to bind a willing Kheldian to the Sword.
Relucatant at first, his Kheldian friend, Onyx Soul (my Warshade), convinces him to talk to Moonfire, Sunstorm, and Shadowstar. She arranges a meeting between the five of them, and helps Kheldarn plead his case before them. Eventually, they all agree that if a willing Kheldian can be found, they will help Infernal with the ritual to bind it to the Sword.
After awhile, a willing Kheldian is found. The Kheldian is close to dying, and has yet to find a host that it is willing to bond with. Essentially, being bound the the Sword is the last chance the Kheldian has to extend it's life, so it agrees.
The end result is Kheldarn's third costume:

Aided by the Kheldian, Kheldarn's willpower is enough to overcome the Sword, and essentially purifies it, leading to his fourth costume, which is essentially a return to the beginning:

Finally, Kheldarn's willpower masters the Sword, leaving him with his fifth and final costume:

And there it is. Kheldarn.
Of course, the costumes are going to require me to run the ITF and defeat Rommy five times, run at least one Ship Raid to collect the 100 Vanguard Merits needed to buy the Talsorian Broadsword, and, hardest of all, he'll have to unlock the Eyeball Sword... Since he's currently only Level 27, it's probably going to be awhile before I'm able to get all five costumes set up. Oh well. It's good to have goals.
