Time for my side of the story!
Prior to this game I didn't really have any interest in superheroes or comics at all. I was actually more apart of The Sims community and made a lot of friends there, some of which finally brought me over to COH after much prodding. So I did the trial back in like June 2007 and got hooked right away. I ended up getting to 50 really fast, and in the process teamed with all of Triumph without even knowing it and made friends with everyone. Everyone was so nice and helpful so I always tried to return the favor.
Eventually ran into some chick named Magenta Bolt and hit it off like we'd always been friends. I mean we had some pretty sweet costumes, we were friends with all of each others friends, and we saw each other all the time, so we basically didn't have a choice but to be friends too. It was supposed to happen.
After like a year of role-playing as his character of Magenta Bolt, a girl, he eventually tells us all he's really a guy and totally had us all fooled. I mean c'mon, Dawun was picturing some kinda Amazonian woman when MB said he was 6'6".
I don't really know how to explain it but I think I always had feelings for him even when I thought he was a girl, just because we did have a lot in common and really we spent so much time together hanging out and such. When I found out it was like somebody flipped a switch and suddenly he became very attractive to me, lol. It all went downhill from there. We became closer than ever, creating our own SG, making countless leveling pact duos, etc. We knew we wanted to meet in person, but it was delayed a year while I dealt with my family issues. But during that time we talked every day, as we do now, and still just have a blast together. We fell in love with one another, and when we finally saw each other in person, we fell in love all over again in each others arms it was so magical.
We've visited each other a couple times since then, the last time being over New Year's which was simply amazing meeting all his friends and family. Them being so supportive of us and seeing the connection we have was simply amazing and really was one of the most touching things I've witnessed.
Anyway I'm just so lucky to have met him and to have such a special connection, because we really are so much alike and think so similarly, we just seem to have that spark. I mean c'mon, you want to know what really solidified everything for us? Finding out we both wear our socks inside-out.
Cause i'll be sneaking other things like my hands to various areas of her body! *cough*
