This one was a gift piece.
This one turned out "wow!" Both of the artists who did this one are exceptionally talented and more than reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a commish.

Meh, that is like suggesting that because certain people who have a certain program can access things much better anyway, your preferred webpage layout is silly...in defense of a needless chance to that page's formating. Which is a silly argument.

I just want to show as much of the art as I can to someone coming to my page. Who cares about my page except for the art? And since I am a collector, its lots of different art by lots of different people in lots of different styles. If I were an artist, maybe they could figure out if they wanted to see more of my stuff from a few pieces on the front page, but since I am not, I want to show as much art from as many artists as I can.

I didn't ask for a "zombie" piece from this artist, but once I saw it I kind of liked it.

Why shouldn't I be able to do it how ever I want? I don't think its redundant. In any case, its hardly a good explanation for the fact that they have suddenly dramatically reduced the journal size.
PS The modules that you can add to the front page are actually somewhat limited. You can only add them to certain parts of your page, and their formatting doesn't allow you to display nearly as many thumbs as you can in your journal. -

Well, you could just remove all the thumbnails you put in it. Why do you have a gallery of thumbnails of all the art you've collected over the past year and a half in your journal entry? People are suppose to look through your gallery for the art, not the journal.
