    Fire^3 IOing

    A friend's asked me to do a build for her, the criteria given was, and I quote, "Damage damage damage damage damage and then some damage." I've done my best to follow such complex guidelines without compromising anything much. She's okay with a few purples, I tried not to overload it and drive the cost too high.

    If anyone could critique this for me I would appreciate it, as I'm better at IO'ing for defence then damage. Cheers.

  3. I didn't think of the proc, but that'd give a good bit of dps, since storm kick is used every other attack. Thank you.

    Ah, cheers. That's the arc I've been using to play with Chimera.
  5. Thanks for the kind words. And it wasn't easy, I think it was only the fact that it's Chimera that I managed it. I gave him another go, and had to back out of combat a bit again. The build definitely needs work.

  7. I realise that hubris is a sin, but since the Americans are doing it a lot I figure it must be okay. I've just finished soloing Chimera, my first AV discounting a Requiem last night that fought to a draw.

    He was tough, though that may have been because my build wasn't finished. I did have to LoS him when IH, MoG and Recon were on CD to buy time for another Recon. And I used a respite and a luck over the course of the fight, but they weren't really needed, same for one use of the Gaes Of The Kind Ones. Not needed, but I enjoy the shiny recharge.

    Being an idiot, I forgot to take any screencaps during the fight. I got one of his corpse. I realise it doesn't actually prove he was an EB, but who'd go to the trouble of such an overly long post just for an EB? Anyway, here's the cap:

    Build is still missing the fourth Basilisk's Gaze, the full Kinetic Crash in Dragon's tail and the purple set in Storm kick, I've stuck some SOs in there for now.

    I plan to try some more later, I'll update this thread with news of my likely failure, since Chimera gave me a fight and Chimera is a wimp.
  8. Have I told you how awesome your art is yet? I love the colouring on Toshi, though I cant really see much of the Nero one. Blasted photography!
