Another week gone, another week closer to Dragon*Con. Now, if I could just get my computer to connect to the frakkin' Internet, I'd be happy.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be around to help - I've been having problems getting the drivers for my new graphics card installed, and my computer does not want to connect to the internet now. I'm close to admitting defeat and taking it in to the local computer store my dad swears by.

Yeah. Got a new graphics card the other day - problem is my power supply wasn't putting out near enough power for the card. So... I've got a new power supply coming (not a matter-antimatter reactor, sadly, though I did look), which means I've got my desktop computer - which is my gaming computer - half- disassembled right now.

Wait, so we need a PhD to prove John Gabriel's Greater Internet F**kwad Theory?

I want to roll a dual pistols character, but I also don't want to just be another kid on the Power of the Week train.

On the other side of the coin, this gives me a chance to try and come up with a cool backstory...

I shall mark this on my calendar, barring having to go on drill this weekend. (Just joined the National Guard, my unit's leaving on two weeks' training this weekend - since I haven't even in-processed or drawn my personal gear yet, I doubt the CO will want me to tag along, but you never know...)
