As usual, I was only half-listening in History class (the other half was listening to music on my PSP). Through a series of correspondence earlier today, I learned from Fanny that she was hoping I would draw something more during the time when I'd be sitting and not really listening to my History professor. Lacking any other subject in mind, I decided to draw Fan-Fania, but also lacking any reference images, I decided that SD would probably be best :P
Hope you see this, FanFan -
It's not really CoH related, but still, it's a Zaku
and I love Zakus
Granted, as noted in the comment, I kinda forgot what their legs looked like (I didn't have a ref to look at!) while drawing, so they're funky looking
Still! Zaku -

Fix that link! I'm too lazy to scroll further!
JKThat being said... I don't see anything new on there?
[/ QUOTE ]
The new ones are "Descending a Flight of Stairs" and "Colony Drop" -
As stated in the subject, I posted two new pictures to my DA. Nothing incredible, just my bored doodlings, as my teacher seems to go ever-so-slightly more insane and becomes completely unable to maintain a topic during class
But I digress, the link to my Deviant Art is in my signature, or, if you're too lazy to go down there, here is a link to it that you don't have to scroll down a bit further to click
Enjoy! -

Kerse you, Kad.... kerse you...

For what? Stealing the refrigerator? Or leaving my motorcycle on the second floor? -
This is epic! Really! It is! It was drawn during another one of my classes, wherein the teacher was this time flipping Powerpoint slides faster than anyone could've possibly hand-written their contents, so I refuse to feel guilty about this one.
In any case, the details of it are in the typed part below the picture -

I noticed you left a comment, which makes me happy

I looked at the picature, and the banner ad at the bottom was for a university. I love irony
Cool pic Kad, and I cant even see any of the text you mentioned

Did you miss the note that the hat's brim has no shading? That's where the text showed through. I put the thing through the wringer before posting it -

you should pay attention in class young man .. value your education
[/ QUOTE ]
No
Well, at least not in this class. I pay attention in all of my other classes. This, fyi, is just a rehash of what I learned every year I was in school -
Here it is!
It's Kadmon! I drew it during... Well, that information is all contained in the thingy under the picture itself. Enjoy, constructively criticize, set people on fire, tow cars, and watch this disturbing example of claymation. I used to watch that when I was a kid, for the record! -

Your Marle costume is PERFECT. Nice work!

*takes a bow*
I've been doing these for three years now. Let me tell you, all of the new costume bits make making new Halloween costumes MUCH easier -
Here are all of the ones I've made so far:
Sanguine Shrike dressed as the inventor extraordinaire, Lucca!
Atomic No. 90 dressed as that awesome plumber (who, incidentally, is a foot and a half shorter than he is and markedly fatter), Mario!
Prima Ombra, Kadmon's Praetorian counterpart, is dressed as the hammer-wielding boy in blue, Popo of the Ice Climbers
Max Kampfer may not really fit the height, or the suit for that matter, but he is dressed as that pyromaniac party game star, Bomberman!
Kadmon and Masked Shrike come dressed as Quote and Curly Brace of Cave Story fame.
Kadsworth arrives at this Halloween shindig dressed as the wire-tapping, information-gathering, rumor-mongering, coin throwing master, Baofu from Persona 2.
Fiery Havoc and Golus are dressed as the knight and mercenary pair from Terranigma, Fyda and Royd (their sprites are on there. Best I can do, sadly).
Forever Zero decided to steal some of Sanguine Shrike's thunder and dress as Marle, topping her Lucca outfit and very likely drawing more wandering eyes
Last but not least, we have Garlanus prepped for defending people in the court of law (probably by stabbing the prosecutor. He's a Stalker, after all) with his interpretation of Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney! -

Psionic weaponry wouldn't have to be a ripoff of Psylocke. Just don't make it a purple katana. Learnt that lesson after ripping off Wolvy's claws. Maybe a nice energy spear you jab into your enemies, invading their mind and inflicting Fear as you punch through.
[/ QUOTE ]
My suggestion for Psionic Weaponry(please be listening BAB and Castle) is that the character creates different weapons out of psi energy for different attacks. So that if his first 2 attack powers create psionic blades(daggers or swords), then his third and fourth attack powers may be a psionic hammer or mace and the next is a different weapon like a spear(I like the idea of throwing a psi spear).
Damage would be something like a 2/3 psi and then 1/3 the appropriate damage type based on the weapon created(smashing for blunts and lethal for blades).
Well thats just my suggestion. The set wouldn't need to have ALL new animations either...just one or 2 to define its higher level signature attacks.
What do you guys think?
[/ QUOTE ]
I seriously doubt they would do anything like that. As cool as forming different psychic weapons would be, it would essentially cause you to redraw you weapon for nearly every attack. I think that would torque alot of people off, and I don't believe the devs would want something that compicated.
[/ QUOTE ]
Unless they did it like Ice Sword/Fire Sword, with InstaDraw. Seeing as these likely wouldn't be physical weapons, they could be drawn during the attack animation without adding any time to it -
[ QUOTE ]
I'd agree that MA with its one AoE and slow attacks gets less than claws or spines, but 3-5 per mission is about as probable as the earth suddenly becoming a cube.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, if that DID happen, chasing someone to the corners of the world would finally be possible! -

I will never stop saying that we need a Scythe powerset.

And, even though this may be MANY pages late at this point, I'll never stop agreeing with you on that -
I've got a bunch in mind for this year. Just you wait

That might be the best critique I've ever seen.
*looks at the first post*
Oh bugger... Right... uhh... meaningful critique...
There's lots of... err... fore... ground? Bugger, I'm SO getting kicked for this... -
If I post my art, by all means, feel free to critique it. It's considerably better than simply ignoring the thread/not responding/saying "Cool!" I posted one drawing of mine, and it has received, on DA, one comment. There was one other comment when I posted a thread about it. I had asked for comments, and was, for lack of a better word, offended at the lack of interest I received. It's really colored my thinking about posting my work, and not in a good way.

I only wish I still had the early ones. Sadly, they were lost when I built my current computer. I hadn't thought to back them up on my external HD, and they were wiped when the new motherboard formated the old HD.

I see your Vampyr and raise you one Fake Nem in a kiddy pool. -
No complaints here, I was just offering Ombra in case you couldn't find any takers.
-
Need another villain you say? I could throw Kadmon's Praetorian in there, if you'd like
EDIT: And here we go! This is Prima Ombra, Super Strength/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery (Fly) Brute. Pictured here are two of his costumes that I'm rather fond of. If you wanted to visually differentiate him from Kadmon, I'd advise using the coated costume (if you use him at all)
