  1. I love my DSMM but I'd rather summon a pack of ravenous werewolves instead of the same old hell spawn thingies. This probably isn't a new thread concept here but I just wanted to throw some fuel on the MM fire. I'd be content with being able simply assign preexisting npc models to my minion tiers.

    Tier 1: 3 of those circle of thrones specter things
    Tier 2: 2 of the giant werewolf models
    Tier 3: Well, I actually like my demon prince. Id rather see him replaced with a Cerberus type creature or a demon bear.

    This all brings me around to my other idea for hero versions of mastermind that can summon animals or clones of your character but that's for another thread.
  2. I'd like to see things like a blaster whos powers eminate from a violin or a fender strat. I'd like a controller with a flute to steal yo babies in the night. I'd like to see a brute that smacks ppl with an awesome flaming guitar! I want my mastermind to summon his minions with a sad tune from a shakuhachi.

    So yeah... That stuff.
  3. I would love for my blasters powers to eminate from a violin! I can also see a controller with a glowing flute/shakuhachi.

    CoH needs a bard class! LOL
  4. I don't really see why this set would be complicated to create. I'll admit that a whale is a bit much but I was aiming for an extreme to show the ultimate versatility of my idea. There is nothing impossible or even difficult about this power set. It's basically nothing more than a bunch of costume changes with accompanying stats or a new weapon model here and there. The weakest member of NCs creative chain gang could pull this powerset out of nothing. the most difficult part would be basic model design for some of the powers such as the animal forms or physical augmentations.
    As for having multiple powers, you may be correct on that one. That would be a bit weird. Apon reflection, I guess this would be a more Stalker-esq class relying on subtlety, sneak attacks and subterfuge.

    LOL Let my simplify things:

    Mistique = Shapeshifter of death

    shapeshifter = (stalker+controller)•ninja assassin

    Therefore, nachos.

    On a seperate note, why is there no clone-based mastermind set?
  5. So this may have already been posted but I'd like to see a shapeshifter power set. The whole point of this set would be adaptibiliy and could come in a three great flavors.

    Body Moddification: This type would make you like a T1000. It's the Scrapper version that lets you form weapons from your liquid-like body and negate damage the same way.

    Animal Transformation: You can take on various animal forms giving the player awesome versatility. A bears defense, a tigers attacks, a falcons speed or a whales size could all be at your disposal. The hardest part of this set design to avoid would be keeping the player from morphing into a WoW Druid but a little creativity and outside-the-box thinking could easily prevent such things.

    NPC Transformations: Your powers would depend on what NPC you decide to copy. I like the idea of being able to switch between the abilities of a longbow enforcer, a Rikti and a common Hellion at will. I think this would play like a Stalker except instead of being stealthed, you take on the appearance of the faction that your sneaking through.

    Win.

    I want a scythe!

    I think a scythe/halberd/spear melee class could be fun! They could specialize in AoEs and mid-range melee.

    Animal Control

    This is a smashing idea! An animal handler could be the hero counterpart to mastermind. I pray every night for world peace and a pack of dire wolves of my very own. Also, why can't I cover my enemies in bees yet? This could be the coolest power set ever! My current main character is my mastermind demon summoner but I'd rather be a hero. A hero that covers people in bees and wolves! If they need to vary the types like they do for the other pet sets than I recommend three falcons, two wolves and a bear.
