Enhancing defense on a blaster wouldn't really be worth it tbh Dark, it's strength is to be able to deal a tonne of damage (be it in range or melee) and although there are a few powers you could pick to slightly enhance defense, it would be a waste. What I tend to do, is make sure they're dead before they get a chance to hit me

Tbh, I personally never slot my attacks at such a low level, I just use the ones I'll randomly get dropped. There's not much point due to levelling so quickly. And as for Sonic, good choice! Sonic Primary and Ice Manipulation are both quite controllerish sets (see Okton, I know Controllers too!!!) so you should feel right at home. -
Well I play my Stalker like I make love, stalk around a bit, waiting for the perfect moment, then BLAM, all done. I try to make it as quick as I can.

Ice/Nrg would most definitly be better for all round PvP then the Ar/Dev. The high burst damage is your key weapon against any AT, that's the way you defeat controllers.

I've always thought if you use phase shift you should be able to escape dimensional shift and interact with non phased players again. Likewise, 2 phased players would be able to slug it out, but couldnt interact with non phased players in any way. The idea being that you can be in phase or out, and can interact with anyone who's phase status is the same as yours. Bit of a stretch to apply that "logic" to pff and sonic cage though, plus I'm just thinking out loud anyway :O)

People were being Perma Caged because of a specific threat that they posed against the opposing team in the Arena. Taking them completely out the game/match, and as you can imagine, spending 10 minutes permanently caged isn't that fun.

If the PVE Duration is 30 seconds base, then the PvP Duration is 15 seconds.
If the PVE Duration is 20 seconds base, then the PvP Duration is 10 seconds.
The bug was that the PvE tags weren't marked to exclude players, so those attributes took precedence over the PvP tags.

Looks like people won't be permanantly excluded from matches just because they are playing a specific role. -
I find it really difficult to get a good DM/Regen build for PvP, imo it's too PvE orientated for that malarky. I've tried a few builds on mine but none really shine. I personally use TP fore though, and then ToF them, but it usually wears off before I can kill them.
