What I do is I take the pencil scan, go into Adjust-->Levels in Photoshop, and lighten the whole thing, then print it, and ink it, and scan it. Easy.

Personally I use PS for all my stuff. Once you explore it's functions, you realize you don't need much more.

Personally, I think that his old costume depicts him just fine. No real need to change man - you hit it right the first time (kind of how I feel about Juggy).

Thanks, I like the eyes too. I am trying to show some detail with the Boss in the back, but not too much. I really want it to seem like he is coming out of the darkness.

I've darkened up his skin a bit and eased up on the shadows. what do you all think?

Ok, got 'em and working on them.

As for the arms, yeah, they are melted into the floor.. hmm, maybe I should work on that effect as well. The shading really adds to the mood of the piece but took away a few details.

Here is my 99% finished version of Pallequin.

I still have a few tweaks to make (I notice that his left arm seems disjointed by too much shadow), but I really hope Mr_Majesty likes it.

Ah Graver, that is how this all got started. I honestly thought it was ok to post art in a server forum. It's been done before, and my guess is, it'l be done again. It's not cross posting if it's there to show the people of that server one of their own.

Yeah, the whole scraps thing bothers me sometimes.. they stay there for days.

But odd about the notice bit. I get too many notices each day. Man, there's a lot of art on that site.

Yeah, when you set your "friends" or "watches" and such, you have to make sure that certain boxes are checked.
