    Merry Xmas COH!

Your female faces are always so destinctive - love 'em

It's unfortunate that you had problems motivating yourself to get this piece done. I guess you're starting to mature a bit, and a bit away from comic-book fantasy, huh Juggy? It happens.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ah, just to be kind of clear on that - the reason I needed to get my mind back in gear was because I had completely finished the pencils when I lost my comp hard drive.

I had a clear vision of the piece in my head from the get-go, but it was hard to do all of those hours of lines over again (both mentally and physically).
  3. I'd be satisfied with just learnng how to use that program. lol
  4. both are good, but that 2D is REALLy nice.
  5. I'm really glad you like it SD. A while back I had come across this picture and this one (sorry Bayani) and thought more about how color and composition can play into a piece.

I'm tempted to do more black and white stuff after this.
  6. Some of you might have heard that my comp HD bit the dust a week or so back. I lost a lot of good files and projects I was working on... andthis was one of them. I had already drawn this out once, and after it was gone, it took me a week or more to get my psyche back in the right frame to be able to draw it again.

I think this turned out pretty well though.

    MMOART: Jotunn

Gill is really on a serious roll of late.
  8. I like his facial expression in the first one.
  9. 'tis the season for crankin' out the hits.
  10. These are awesome man - I'm really digging the idea

always love your lighting man - dig the tatts here too!

Hey Juggs, yup I dink everything now that I have a Cintiq. I used to touch up my inks and add effects when I had an Intous, but doing a whole piece was a hassle.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm going to ignore commenting on your type and show my envy towards your Cintiq. I've been thinking of getting one for x-mas... in your opinion - worth it?
  13. [ QUOTE ]
Lol Soul_Train you're nuts! Oh and very nice headshot avatar.

Here is the ink stage of JOTUNN "The Numbah one troll on Infinity" I recently have not been adding any of the hard shadows and cast shadows during the inking phase, because I find it much easier to change lighting dynamics when I move to the coloring phase.

I know there are a great deal of artists around these parts, so if anyone wants to know anything about my process, please feel free to ask. I know I have a few questions for some of you.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Was this inked digitally? If so, I'm amazed! /thumbs up

    Happy Juggy Day!

    Ah ha! Found the CAKE!

    [/ QUOTE ]

hahaha, like I said, if Disney was to do a scary movie, this would be a great intro poster.

    Thanks bud!
  15. Here's an 'on-topic' question for ya Gill (and hopefully one that's drama free) - how's your 'Studio' section working out?

I loved pieces like 'The sick and the dead' but haven't seen anything similar of late. Are those still being cranked out?

    Happy Juggy Day!

And yes, for any doubters here, it is my birthday! So... here's to Juggs for everyone!!

    [/ QUOTE ]
Happy belated birthday! I hope it was a good one!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ah, it was both good and bad.

Lunch buffet = not so good. $60 a plate for mediocre food.
Aquarium= good... but boy my little girl can cause trouble.
Presents=cash=usually good. But spent most of it on my hard drive that crashed a few days ago.

overall though, I can't complain... oh, looking at the above, I suppose I just did.

And as for emails, I don’t recall receiving any from you at all. Not just recently, but ever lol.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I sent one for sure, and possibly two - but that may have been during part of your transition in the rebot. In fact, I seem to recall sending you one in regards to the last thread 'turning south'... but like I said man, that may have been in or around the time of your transition.

Either way, as I've said many times already - it's great to see you posting on these boards again (even if it is for a limited time). Hopefully we'll get to see you post up some pieces for x-mas

    New Pep Art

hhmmm, just realized I've never drawn Pep.
  19. [ QUOTE ]
Yes it is amazing what sending a simple "How's it going" email to him can do.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Wow, you want to continue this I guess. Should I mention the PM's I've sent? Should I talk about the emails?

Or should I just leave it alone?

I'm pretty much willing to do that and welcome Gill back to the boards. Because the truth is, I've ALWAYS been a fan of his - but being a fan, does not mean blind support - forgive me, but I ask questions on occasion.

So, do you really want to continue this with passive/aggressive swipes, or are we done?

Communication solves problems, who'd-a thunk it?

    [/ QUOTE ]

exactly And I think everyones the happier for it.
  20. ((look at that, a few good words from Gill, and everything is right again))

  21. Thanks for chiming in here Gill. It's great to know that you're still around and kickin' (and cranking out the hits).

Your personal life is your own... and you deserve that. I hope my inquiries didn't lead to you divulging that info. My only hope is that ...because of previous history.. you might consider keeping all of your fans in the loop a bit more.

We all love your stuff man... and would just like to hear more from you sometimes.
