I really like the first suggestion, since it goes with the new Tanker inherent. Perhaps it could be a chance for another -20%.

The second is very, very interesting idea.

Otherwise, everyone on the team - including Scrappers and Brutes get a 20% bonus to their offense when the Tanker uses their T1.
Anyway you slice it, this is a good thing.

I'm also kinda scratching my head as to what thematic niche this fills. I mean, I guess its fine just to have for mechanics, but still.

Yeah lets just increase damage cap and give them Fury and Crits... that way we can just all play Tanks... that be fun
This thread should have a hyperbole cap.

I would like to see bruising stack from multiple tankers, with diminishing returns of course.
Yup. That would be an excellent start.

Circuses are fun. This thread, not so much.

Personally, I don't care much about damage. With three melee ATs that specialize in it already, I don't much see the point in making Tankers damage dealers.

That said, with the role of tanking able to be fielded by so many ATs, being the best at it matters less and less. I'd rather see Bruising expanded upon. I'd rather be melee debuff, and team buff. Its not enough to just manage aggro better anymore. Certainly not at times when there are only a few targets.

This is what I'd like to change to. I haven't clicked on Conserve Power once, and keep getting told I need more Acc, so I figure switching to Focused Accuracy is a good call.

    ReCrabilitation.

Those builds are going to give me a lot to ponder. Thanks for sharing them.

Yes, I do plan to go after the Incarnate stuff, though I'll probably be less vigorous than I was with my tank, and worry less about getting t4 in anything other than Cardiac.

Weave, Hover, Combat Jumping and doubled maneuvers alone is damn potent, and adding in IO's you can get even better.

Styg only has a couple of her planned sets and is already softcapped to everything except Psi, and she's only .5% away from that...without Armageddon yet.
I'm not at all opposed to an expensive IO build. I enjoy chasing down rare stuff.

I think I'd like to be Support/Ranged. Again, I want as few pets (or none) as possible.

    ReCrabilitation.

Hey all, I'm returning to the game after a two year hiatus, and am in the process of fixing my characters. I've taken care of my Tank, and am now turning an eye to my Crab.

Looking at my build, its clear that I was just throwing random powers on there and hoping for the best. I'd like to use my respec to focus my crab into something useful. My goal is to make a team oriented, pets-lite/no-pets character. Furthermore, I'm interested in learning what makes the Crab Spider shine. I really didn't ever get a handle on them way back when.
  13. I can't wait to get started on this! Thanks for all your help, everyone!
  14. Since I have Hecatomb, and it gives a better recharge bonus, I'll slot that instead. Now, what I'm thinking I might do is change Knockout Blow to five slots and put Hecatomb in there, and six slot Haymaker with Mako's Bite.
  15. That is some really good advice. Thanks a lot!
  16. Excellent, I'll give it a look!

Also, while I've got this thread here, any good suggestions for what I should slot for Interface?
  17. Revised!

  20. I actually did not know that Psi usually was multityped. Neat.
  21. What's your strategy for dealing with Psi? There's quite a bit in endgame, and it can really take the wind out of your tank sails.
  22. Yeah, I figure I've got a grind ahead of me one way or another, but pursuing PVP IOs gives me something to do with my main.

Anyway, is there another good choice for a power beside Energy Torrent or Grant Invisibility? I want to weigh my options.
  23. Alright, here's draft 1 of my rebuild. I checked a lot of Inv/SS builds to get this, and tooled around til I found the common threads (which is namely the aggressive pursuit of Def bonuses).

  24. I have kind of wanted to get out of Speed.

Anyway, I'd love to see some more builds. I know what my focus was when I tuned this build, and a lot of what I'm seeing runs counter to the advice I was given. Mind you, I don't think anyone's wrong, I'm just curious as to build design.

I'm also not eager to dump a lot of these rare enhancements...
