    Warwolfs?

    [ QUOTE ]
I think they nerfed the xp on the vamps from the capsules, but they still count toward the badge.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The Vamps that pop out do indeed give no rewards The capsules give 10x what a standard Vamp minion gives though. Not really pertinent information for this thread since it's just about getting vamps, not xp, but I figured it should be mentioned for the sake of completeness.

With everyone (almost) having begged for power customization.. any chance this will also be an all open test?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'd say there's roughly as much chance of that as there is of a Left4Dead movie coming out next week billed as a romantic, slapstick comedy.

    [/ QUOTE ]
That sounds like a great idea for a movie, I can't wait to see it!

    Stop the madness

    Madness... ?

This is SPARTA! (Or should I say Cimerora?)

*kicks dbhellfist down a giant well*
  4. Yeah, like Agge said, it's a vet reward. Prior to obtaining the vet reward, I was using the one star option (the star with a circle background) with the colors set to a dark gold for the circle and a brighter gold/yellow for the star. It wasn't perfect, but it was reminiscent of a sheriff's star, so it worked well enough.

Good luck coming up with a costume you like. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

    Warwolfs?

Striga Island, considering your level, they'll be real easy to kill fast. Around the cemetery area and such.
  6. Just select your text and right-click it, it'll have the option there. Also, you can use the html color coding <color #hexcode>text</color>
  7. Noticed tonight that what I noticed about the pants also applies to many of the Sleeveless Jacket options. Most of the newer Sleeveless Jacket options have the arm holes capped. The Baron one does not though, and you can see through from the inside (via the armhole). I don't particularly care for the capped look, since it makes it look like the Jacket is extremely thick. Of the styles that are not capped, there are some that cannot be seen through from the armhole, but it's about 50/50. Obviously the ones that are see-through are bugged, but what about the rest? Should they all be capped? If so, I'll be disappointed since I dislike that look. To me it looks like the Jacket options that are capped were made as such to avoid having to deal with seeing through the polygons from the inside. It sounds strange to me though since it should just be a matter of applying the 2-sided property to the materials. It looks like the original modeler remembered to do it half the time on the old stuff.

And yeah, I know this stuff isn't high-priority since it's not often that people try to look through other people's Jackets via their armholes... But when you have time to check it out, it shouldn't be too hard of a fix.
  8. Here's three of my MA/Regen's 5 costumes (the other two are street clothes and a police uniform, so not what you want): Hannah

On the left is her Blue Steel look.

In the middle is her Private Eye/Detective look.

Then the two on the right are what eventually evolved out of her "Lonestar" look (She was originally a Shadowrun character).

Not true.. City of Villians was both an issue and an expansion, though you could not use the issue unless you had purchased the expansion. But now that you don't need both CoH and CoV it can now considered as a true issue, which means that the Going Rogue will be an expansion as well as an issue which won't be required to play unless you purchase it and my eyes just crossed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Issue 6 was Along Came A Spider. More info on ParagonWiki.

No mention at all of being able to be a villain or go to the Rogue Isles. City of Villains was completely separate from Issue 6, and was released 4 days after Issue 6 went live.
  10. Post in the wrong thread much, Larissa? =P

    Auto sk to 52?

    [ QUOTE ]
Now, that being said, I know of no enemy that ONLY spawns at level 52. However, if you find a level 50 enemy, the mission owners difficulty level might boost the other enemies to level 52, I'm not sure.

    [/ QUOTE ]

A few of the Arachnos AVs have versions that only spawn at 52. Barracuda, Ice Mistral, Silver Mantis, Wretch, Magus Mu'Drakhan, Regent Korol, Shadow Spider, and Viridian according to the wiki.

I really did miss you posting more often.

Must mean he was unlocked out of his cage, may mean his work with power customization is complete and I16 will be here a month after 15 hits live.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Or maybe I was banned from the game and forums for 'dupin rares'

Is that better or worse than dupin Trolls? Heh... *wonders if BAB knows what I'm talking about*

And if anyone's worried about name clashes... you can search the EU board.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually just did that... And either there is no Johnstone over there... Or he hasn't posted anything within the past year with the word "the" in the post. There was probably a better way to search, but that seemed to work lol

    Trial question

It is true. Generally, there are plenty of people around in Atlas Park when you start off. Simply ask someone in local chat to invite you and your friends to a team and then quit so that it is just you and your friends on the team. Then you're set. Shouldn't be too hard to find someone willing to do this once you explain the situation. GL.

Didn't they JUST do this by making imps ignore recharge?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Recharge became irrelevant in this situation. When you summon new imps, it kills the old ones.

[/ QUOTE ]CEM means the recent change to make ALL pets immune to recharge buffs, meaning slotting */Rech IOs into your Summon Imps can't make them attack faster.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And since they are talking about kin, SB doesn't work either.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But it still makes them run around like crazy little monkeys... Which means I'll still SB my imps whenever I finally decide to play my fire/kin again lol.

    Query: name conflicts?

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is my question as well. I just changed my display name a little while ago, don't want to get screwed out of what I finally decided I like.
  19. [ QUOTE ]
It's a bit of a bummer since I'm trying to avoid leveling via the AE on this character to make sure I go through 1-50 the traditional route at least the once and know what the various zones & mob groups have to offer.

    [/ QUOTE ]

So turn off XP while you're in the AE. Then you can just use the AE to get tickets, influence, and (if you're in a SG) prestige; all without worrying about outleveling your regular contacts.
  20. Haven't tested this with all different pants options, but at least a few of them need some work. It appears that when the pants were modeled, the material applied was not 2-sided, so we end up being able to see through the pants when looking up the leg. It's most obvious when using powers that share Cremate's animation, where the one leg is back further, like so. It's not really that big a deal, but it should also be rather easy to fix. If you're using 3DS max, just open up the material editor and select "2-sided". Hopefully it is that easy.

    Birthday Art!

lol Love the zombie one. Happy belated, Nadya!
  22. Well, it would explain away how you can miss a grey-con minion when you have a 95% chance to hit them... Just blame the owl.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
    break?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, break. The ability to easily stack things and place objects inside other objects was not intentional. Therefore, I want the costume editor to "break" in that same way so that we'd be able to just use whatever costume piece we want and not have to worry about restrictions.

    [ QUOTE ]
A simple fishbowl helmet as a shoulder item would be absolutley brilliant.

It would clip with some hairstyles, but we already have hairstyles clipping with certain collars and capes.
Leave that to the player to reconcile.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I highlighted that phrase because I wonder how many 1,000s of hours of both Devs' and players' time could have been saved over the years if the Devs had been more willing to give us more options and let us players "reconcile" what clipped with what and/or looked fine anyway. Clearly the Devs are way, way too conservative about what they let us play with and have wasted far too much effort keeping us 'safe' from potential clips that are -not- that big a deal.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Given the amazing things that we are able to build in the base editor now that we can overlap things and not worry about pathing, I would think that they would see that the players are capable of designing things that don't clip in terrible ways. Some clipping would actually lead to some ideas working better (I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know there are a few looks that could be great that are not allowed).

Anyway, yeah, I wish the costume editor would break like the base editor did.
  25. Threw together a couple of my toons for your consideration. Although, I tend to lurk a lot and I'm not quite as vociferous as others, so I'll understand if you choose to exclude my toons from the mix. Although, how can you say no to Wendy O (and others, but that messes up the rhyme)?
