It was my second day playing city of heroes when I got a message from a player called White Knight. on the union server. A friend of his was joining up and he messaged me thinking I was his friend. We got to talking and after a few levels he told me about DOs, lead me to the mutant store and gave me the inf to buy my first set. He explained about the fitness pool which was a life saver on my blaster and recommended aid self. Later he told me about SOs and where to get them. He really made getting into the game a lot easier and i met some of the best friends I've had in game through him.

I'm in the mostly common/uncommon reward table group. I've had 1 rare and 1 very rare drop but thats it. I am using my energy/elec blaster as he is my main and i want to get tier 4 everything on him. The only time I am not blasting away is when just after using nova or when i die. Luckily deaths are getting fewer as the baf/lambda runs are smoothing out. I honestly cant see what i can do more than i am to participate and yet its been non stop low reward tables. Its a little annoying seeing some people on the league giggle about their 3rd or 4th rare or very rare table in a row.

I honestly dont mind running the trials. Its the reward table that makes me want to give up. All I get are common and uncommon tables. I've had one rare and one very rare and thats it. The idea of having to spend 100s of millions of inf to get any other very rares i'll need is frustrating. I hope its not performance based as some people were saying in pocket d the other day. I dont door sit and the only time im not attacking is when I die, and that is getting less and less as the tactics are getting better. I shouldnt be surprised really as I rarely get good drops in other areas of the game. Since I.Os came out i have had about 2 LoTG +rech and about 4 or 5 purples. The plan now is to try for tier 4s on everything for my main and to stop at tier 3 for any other alts I decide to go incarnate.

My favourite has to be the Kheld emote bug. I was in a team once and my pb starts vomiting in the middle of a mission and i couldnt cancel it for some reason. An ambush strolled along and theres my team fighting all around me while im doubled over saying hello to lunch again

I'm still unsure whats happening in regards to marketing in the EU. Are there any plans to promote the game over here on a large scale?
