I don't blame you, they only said that constantly multiple times.

Notice what I said and what the OP said about also looking for fun combos, and not only the best of the best?

Well, you asked for the best of every AT, but then said combos we find really fun, so here goes:
Fire/Fire scrapper - absolutely ridiculous when fully built with IOs/Incarnate stuff
Plant/Thorn dominator - very fun and so effective on teams
Fire/Fire dominator - can outfarm any melee toon I have ever made
Thugs/Traps mastermind - needs no explanation really, just really fun combo
I have exactly 20 level 50s, and these were the most fun ones. I played a lot of my stone/dark brute also but I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to devote a lot of time/money into it. -
Geez I wish I had enough money for Street Fighter cross Tekken that day... :P

Don't forget Street Fighter cross Tekken also comes out that day.

Quote:Doesn't matter, we already have a smashing one so this is just a request for theme options, which I will always agree with.A psy judgment would already have enough issues, considering the enemies that do resist it resist it so heavily, and the enemies that do resist it are mostly endgame where judgments would be used. Pretty much any robots and psy based enemies would basically be a giant middle finger to your judgment.
Then again, I wouldn't put it past them if they still lowered the damage or gave it a long activation or a bad secondary effect.
You guys need to remember that a new judgment power is actually like 9 judgment powers due to the tier option possibilities. -

Zwillinger posted it that way in reference to the scale - he did it on purpose.

March 6th? Yeah, why not, it's not like some power changes for issue 22 hasn't even hit beta yet or like anything else comes out on that day........
OH WAIT

Quote:I mean, yeah, it's fun to pretend, but these guys are researchers/historians/scientists/theorists that do this crap for a living. My youngest sister believes them, though. Especially the bit about the "Ancient Aliens" coming back to abduct all of humanity on Dec 21, 2012.
However, she also believes that you catch a cold by going outside when it's cold, while somehow simultaneously understanding that colds are caused by virii which don't like the cold...

JayboH,
Thank you for the update on this issue.
As to the character slot bit, those are no longer provided for yearly subscriptions to City of Heroes. Global character slots that were once given out for each year of active service were calculated for all existing game accounts at the time of City of Heroes Freedom's launch back on 9/27. More specifically, this article covers how character slots work for game accounts:
Answer Title: Character Slots
Answer Link: https://help.ncsoft.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8115
There's a segment on that page that addresses the year-specific character slot part, and it says:
"If your account was active before the launch of City of Heroes Freedom:
•A Going Rogue serial code is worth 2 extra global character slots. This includes codes from boxed copies of Going Rogue. However, the code must have been applied before the launch of Freedom.
•Other editions of City of Heroes or City of Villains purchased before the launch of Freedom will not grant additional character slots.
•Accounts created before the launch of City of Heroes Freedom will receive one additional character slot for every year (12 months) that it was active. This bonus does not count time after the launch of Freedom."
The kind of character slot accrual that your'e referring to (1 per year) was part of the former Veteran Rewards system, and that has since been replaced by the Paragon Rewards system. This means that your game account already has everything that was due for it, for the history of membership/subscription service to the game, up until the point of launch for City of Heroes Freedom.
From this point forward, the only area for potential concern is when it's time for the monthly-based VIP rewards to be applied (server transfer tokens, Paragon Points stipend, and Paragon Reward Tokens). I use that phrase (potential concern) loosely, because as long as the game account remains on an active VIP subscription those items will award on a monthly basis.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,

Quote:That actually makes me think Executioner's Shot is fine as-is.Executioner's Shot is a 2.57 second animation, with damage coming 2.1 seconds after clicking. Only Shout from Sonic Attack has a slightly longer animation, at 2.67 seconds, but the damage is delivered nearly half a second earlier than Executioner's Shot and the set doesn't have to deal with redraw. Executioner's shot is the second slowest ranged attack in total animation time, and tied for the slowest in damage delivery with Bitter Freeze Ray. This of course ignores Snipes.
I don't think that Hail of Bullets will get changed, however Bullet Rain and Piercing Rounds are good candidates. -
