My first arc is finally done, and i want people to play it and critique it!

Title: A helping hand can lead to broken fingers
Arc ID: 171149
Genre: Drama. A chuckle or two.
Faction: Heroic. mostly.
Length: Medium, 3 missions, av/eb in 2nd and third mish, strong soloer or team recomended

Synopsis: You recieve word of an emergent situation at the Atlas Park sewer entrance, and head there to help out. The guy that's taken charge of the scene is kind of a tool, and you wind up with a bit more on your plate than you expected.

The problem is that this brings in some roleplaying by design. For heroes, you don't need to ask "Why would I be doing this" because they're blunt instruments -- they fight crime, period. Villains however take action for their own goals, their own reasons, with their own tools. Any assumptions you make about those three things will limit your audience, since it'll "feel wrong" for them to play an arc that goes against their character.

That's a big assumption right there. I have a few hero characters that use thier powers for personal gain. Stopping a crime while doing so is just a side effect or easy publicity.
Crimefighting is not always the ends, sometimes it's the means

Some villains may be bad to a degree, like robbing and extortion, but might actually attempt to stop another villain from comitting murder, as is kind of the philosophy of one of my villains. I plan on using that in a future MA arc

not looking for uber, obviously , but which will allow me to have some fun (i.e. not die in three seconds everytime?)

for the life of me i can't remeber what the name of the arc was, but i had run it twice with a different toon under the same settings an hour earlier, and got the badges on that first one

i've been running ouro's today and i have run one with debuffs on myself and one with buffs on the enemies. i recieved no badges for either, and don't already have them in my badge list. a known bug?

Wow great news on the arena stuff, can't wait to see it!

I assume you won't be able to set up matches that are totally like they were pre-i13, but maybe close?

I haven't touched the Cyborg stuff. I went to make a new costume when it came out and ended up going steampunk. :s

not sure if this is the proper forum, but i am looking for something that would reset my desktop image at random, maybe everytime i turn the comp on.

Something that would take images from a specific folder so i could put the stuff i want in there, not just random internet fluff.

i know there are things like this for screensavers, but i've not found anything for the desktop itself

i wanted to try and make an avatar that would scroll through headshots of my characters.

Does this take some programming/html/tech knowledge or can any knucklehead with a few extra hours do it?

My wife i still be wrangling venomous snakes in the rainforest, and i will have sitting sores on my butt from 3 days of straight playing!
