I looked at the words first. I'm a girl. So does this mean I pass the test and am not gay? Or does that mean I'm straight because I'm not interested in boobs? -
That was fun tonight guys. The free for all match after the arena battle was especially fun! Thanks all for showing up

Hey... it's a completely legitimate excuse! Hrmph! -
Okay.. I did it with a completely different team tonight. I was just helping out some friends that never did it before/never completed it before. We had only 5 on the team. 1 brute, 2 kins, 1 rad, and a Mastermind. We completed it.
The whole mission went really well except for the last one.. as usual. Once we hit Reichman... we had a team wipe due to the ambushes. To make a long story short, we wondered if we could just pull the ambushes to us, because it was way too much chaos than we could handle. So the four of us stood outside the main room in the cave area while the brute pulled the ambushes towards us. Reichman stayed where he was and didn't follow. So... the brute pulled the ambushes towards us... and it was much smaller managable groups of maybe 8 - 10.. instead of 4 or 5 groups of 10 at one time. So even though it took a while... we managed to clear the entire ambush that way with no more team wipes.
Then we hit Reichman.. he went down really fast. I'd say 5 minutes. The key for our small group of 5 was to get rid of the ambush first then hit Reichman w/all we had. We did bust out one shivan for the last fight though.
But looking at it... this mish does require a brute, kin, rad, and a mastermind to make the end fight easier I think.
Our time was 2:50.. indeed not a very spectacular time.. but seeing as it was a team of 5, and 3 of the team didn't do the TF before, 1 of the team never completed it before, and me being the only one that completed it before.... we did very well. It was also a very good team up... everyone did their part and was a solid team. I actually had lots of fun w/the group despite the fact that it took so long. If any of you guys are reading this post, good job guys! I had fun... now off to bed with me! -
Okay, did it in 1 hour 53 minutes. Mostly because more than half the team didn't know how to do it... and also most of them were standing around while only 3 of us were going around to grab the AVs..... I think we could have probably shaved 20 - 30 minutes off the mish if eveyone knew what they had to do.
1 Mastermind, 1 Brute, 1 Rad, 1 Kinetic, 1 Thermal, 1 Dominator, 1 Stalker. Thinking back.. we should have gotten 2 MMs.. would have been easier. I think you need a Kin and a Rad to help out.. the thermal was also good as an extra buffer.
If you have a dominator.. have them use the temp power to hold the ambush mob... then have the corrupter use his/her temp power afterward to get rid of the mob. For the stalker power.. it lets you get in that laser room to activate the ambush death ray.. but can only be used 4 times. So make sure that you use it when you have a big mob in tow. Getting rid of the ambushes was key.
We of course had the Brute hold that M. Bison dude... while others helped kill the mobs. But naturally.. after the mobs were done... Reichman went down fairly quickly... the mobs make it take longer I think.
But anyways.. it can be done... probably in a shorter time once the whole team knows what they are doing... also hopefully w/less complaining than my team did.
This TF is so totally not worth 20 merits. It should be worth more. But meh.. at least I can say I did it and completed it. -
Eeeek! I contributed to the pyramid! I feel so dirty. Hopefully no one continues it.
-
ooooh looks like TEAM HUGS is going to be going up against your team this week boxxy. Good luck to you guys.
-
MMmmmmmmm... Man love.
Can I watch? Please? *giggles*
I still say if you throw in the mix a kitty cat ninja girl with cutsie wings then it'd be complete. Wait.. what am I talking about again? -

So I noticed there were a lot of people around in the arena after the matches, Vamp or JK, what do you think about maybe having a free for all after they are all said and done? Of course nobody would be obligated, but since I saw a lot of folks in there, I thought maybe it would be a good way to round out the evening.

Most of us were just hanging out, watching some matches that started late, chatting, practicing, or saying how much another team spanked our tooshies so badly that it's still red from the spankings.......<ahem>... but yeah, I'd be up for a friendly free for all arena duel after the matches. That sounds like fun.

Thank you for the response and I hope people have enjoyed the times so far with the league.

I've been enjoying the league thus far. All the people we've gone up against have been really good sports. No trash talking or anything, so that's been a relief to me at least (I even had a few people appologize to me in Pocket D for being mean to me in RV/in a previous PvP match, etc.. I don't even remember anyone really being rude to me <well except for one incident...>... I normally say silly comments while PvPing in zones anyways, so I really don't remember all that much *giggles*... I thinks it's cute ^_^).
I really enjoy PvPing with my team mates (Kiwi & Machina). We never really PvP'd all together before (and in the case with -machina, I've never even teamed with him before until the league started up), but they turned out to be really great team mates, and we get along really well. We all practiced a few weeks in advance for the league to get down our team tactics and how each other move. It's great that we all worked together on that. Yay for Kiwi and -Machina, you guys are great team mates!
Thanks Buck, JK, and Ninja for doing this PvP league, it's been nerve racking at times, but for the most part a lot of fun! -
To all my friends that sent me silly offline tells asking if Korea bombed Hawai'i today....and to those asking me through out the week how I felt about Korea going to bomb Hawai'i.... HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!! You guys are so silly.... but I still appreciate your concern. Hope you guys all have a good one.

Hau'oli La Hanau! Happy birthday you super sexy team girl flesh person you! *giggles*

I'd have to say that the league was meant to be fun. Although it would be nice to have a referee at the rescheduled matchs watching.. I don't think it's very necessary. Unless you feel that there is a problem with the ethics of another team, then I think it would be best to have someone there. Otherwise, not totally necessary.
Team rescheduling is hard as it is. Throw in a referee in there.. and trying to get him in the match to watch it... makes it harder.
Real life does go on... but we all knew that these matches were supposed to be on Sunday at 2pm HST (yeah that's right, I put Hawaii time on darn it!). So, if you can't make the match... for courtesy sake.. since we all know whom we are going to face on Sunday... perhaps an offline tell or posting on the forum telling the other team that you would be facing off that you won't be there would be a nice gesture? This way the other team doesn't have to wait around wondering what is going on. Also, this ettiquite would help Buck, JK and Ninja with not having to answer tells saying.. "hey, our opponents didn't show up.. what do we do, what do we do?"... they are already busy keeping score and stuff.
Just a suggestion.. please ... no one bite my head off m'kay?

Awwww... that blows.
I can vouch for this team that they were practicing and anticipating this event. You guys spent alot of time talking about builds, slotting out your toons, respecing your toons, and testing your toons in the arena for this event. Most of the time I got the smack down. (hmmm maybe it's a good thing now... I'll have a chance....) Too bad you can't go further.
Do you think you can find 2 new members for your team? Or perhaps you can be a sub? I'm sure they are in much demand during the Sundays. If you want.... my other half, Ghrowler said he will stand in if you don't mind having a cruddy blaster... hey that's his words not mines okay? -
Wait... so is there an actual site to go to for this.. that isn't a Rick-roll?
If so what is the site? I was going to look at all the forum pages...but uhmmm... that's quite a few pages. Please advise. Thank you -
Good time Ninja.
We all tried the blue side one the first time tonight as well. Finished it in 1:04 on a team of 6 (tank, 1 blaster, 1 scrapper, 3 controllers). Sheeeesh. They make blue side so easy. No ambushes to deal with... no having to lead people anywhere.. most of the missions are click this or click that.
Why did they make the red side Strike Force so hard. On red side you have to lead the 4 AVs to a silly portal (and the AVs get stuck in the walls... which happened to us... 15+ minutes wasted on waiting on a GM and us trying to get that dude out of the wall), fight each AV and get silly temp powers based on the type of AT you have... and the powers don't really do much of anything. And while you are fighting that M. Bison dude... you have to deal with a huge ton of ambushes.... oh wait.. I know ... red side gets a nice little cut scene... that makes it all worth it right? NOT!
Blue side guys get a nice gun that ACTUALLY seems to do something to the M. Bison looking dude.
Devs love blue side. It's a fact. -
Hau'oli La Hanau to you Pie-ro! So do you have pie for your birthday or cake? Or both? Or eating cake off the pie? Well whatever your dietary preferences may be, I hope you have a good one!

That was lots of fun! TEAM HUGS! enjoyed ourselves!
Is there a prize for best team costume? You know we'd win the prize for that right? Who could resist our totally sexy outfits... and yes... even -machina was sexy! -
Since everyone else is posting some kind of YouTube video... I thought I'd post a couple... only because I'm rather bored right now.. I took a nap earlier... drank too much green tea... and can't get to sleep:
