  1. Grattis for real then.

  2. I haven't been using HeroStats for some time. I quit using it after I couldn't get the game overlay to mesh with Vista. Anyone know of any news on that front?

  3. I know the feeling. It's like they want us to stay in the game forever.

  4. All that is left is to found the CoH Nation with President Steelclaw residing. Alt-O-Holic Rhapsody is the national anthem.

You have done a lot of crazy things here but this tops it all. I LOVED it!

And don't sell yourself short. I have heard worse singers on every episode of Idol. Hmm. That doesn't say much does it?

Now to have Samuraiko make a video of that song..

  5. I was trying to pick my first MMO. It was a choice between SWG, WoW or CoH. I have never! regretted my pick. Came for the genre, stayed for the friends.

    *waves to all CoH players!*

  6. Grattis!

You know in Sweden you get to go out drinking and clubbin' at the tender age of 18.

  7. P_K, Wes.

    Sad to see you go.

    Think you'll be back.

    Gratz on the good match.

    Don't forget us.

  8. Nice review. I like the look of it with the lights and all (ooo shiney!) but anything more than a scroll wheel never get used by me. Let us know what it's like to play with it.

  9. Wow. I think you guys must have a screw loose somewhere. A good screw that is since I almost feel like doing this myself.

How about stopping XP or exemplaring just to increase inf flow. Allowed?

I think I'll stick to my soloing a defender to 50 as my 'craziest' plan. Good luck though. I'll be following this thread with great interest.

  10. Welcome!

Have a beer as you get to keep your beers here while the cookies and bacon gets stolen a lot.

On second thought... *steals back beer*

Of course, a lot of these things are explained by in-game things.
I mean its referred to as a security/threat level, there are mentions that heroes and villains are categorized into ATs, though actually calling "looking for a team" would seem a bit odd since in theory, heroes and villains would use some kind of network, presumably, or get assigned by someone else.
I'd say the last paragraph in the last panel was a note to the players reading the book. As it was the last panel of the last issue it meant:

"Quit reading and get to playing."

  13. I think the Blue King issues were more inline with the players game as Horus, Apex and War Witch was supposed to be players in Paragon.

Top Cow was ok as well. In those storylines you got a better feel for the background of the main heroes and the history of Paragon City.

But as a player I liked the first line better as it showed the plights of a band of heroes just starting out. The very last page of #12 of the Blue King ones is my very favourite.

    Heck have both!

  15. If I would quit my job, leave my family and sell my house I can see myself getting into that tournament.

One question though. Do you do your calculations on a computer or, as a hardcore tournament director would, on pen and paper?

I'd love to see your desktop, either the real or computer one.

I just had this problem on my old computer. It turned out it was a loose cable. Any dogs, cats, toddlers or moms with vacum cleaners around?

  18. Update:

No I won't be able to make this. *cries*

Dang, I really wanted in on this.

  19. Ok. This might well be fixed somewhere in these sacred halls of knowledge and wisdom that is the Tech forums. But cursed with weak search-fu and the fact that most of what you are talking about in here might as well be in latin. I have just the vaguest clue.

    The problem:

CoH works lika charm as it has ever done. GR on the otherhand is behaving like a baby with toothache. It crashes several times a night. Mostly it happens when I click something that will change the screen or pop up. Like entering a mission, leveling up, talking to a contact. The game then freezes and I have to start over.

As far as I remember I haven't crashed once whilst in a mission. If that means anything to you all.

Though I haven't the foggiest about what you can see in this seemingly random list of numbers I do hope you can point me towards some sort of resolution to this mildly annoying problem.
