    Thanks for this question and I would like to know to. This our personal time to help out the seller for a game we pay for. I think it would be very nice to know.

I would rather have an Immediate penelty (though not that End Crasher) then its current form provides. Rage quite frankly sucks and one can do better without it and thats the Problem. With Rage on you might kill a little faster then me but I will not suffer anyset backs and I will not have to fear anything. Kinda Sucks when a rage tank can be looked at as more of a liabilty then a welcomed opportunity of damage production.

    I disagree with this opinion. I'm not saying this poster is wrong however, it is so matter of fact I felt obligated to present my counter to it. Rage has drawbacks, that in certain situations is harsh, but if proper tactics are used like defender with something to keep you lucid or unyielding, and/or keeping your passive protection high as a fail-safe, it not only adds depth to the character's character, it is a nice boost in damage and accuracy. It can be complimentary or a staple power. I am of the opinion that the duration and quick recharge actually makes this power better than Build Up. (having only had experience with Buld Up on my Energy blaster).

    I don't want to sit here and try to push this or sell it on anyone, but if some like it and some don't, that is the point. It's an option, a choice. You don't have to take all your Primary and Secondary powers. We have other pools to look at if we want something safer for accuracy and damage boosts.

    I'm just asking to please leave that choice available and don't chage Rage.

    Now as an Invul tank (who happens to have SS as a seconary).. I'm beggin' ya'... I'm looking for pity here. Just let this one go. I really hope this poster is wrong and that this isn't definite 'gonna change no matter what' situation. Seriously, I can't justify spending hours tweeking my build again. All my accuracy and damage will be reworked on all powers ... again. Just like what i had to do to scrape together soem endurance post perma-unstop. I didn't mind doing it once, but again???

    I would prefer it left alone.. I believe the risk is worth the current reward. I am very worried what balance Rage will half to suffer in exchange for no stun. Personally my inv/ss tank has stomached enough changes already. I sense another play style change coming &amp; I am worried...

    I know I'm being cynical here because my Invul just went through quite a change in the name of "balancing" but the Invul set was 'brought in line' with others. I'm worried other travel powers are going to be 'brought in line' with flight if this conversation continues.

    One of my friends who is new to the game, asked to play so our SG members whipped out some level 15 alts to knock around with his 15. This is a quote "I'm on my way, I'm kind of slow because I don't have a travel power." We all said "no travel power? Interested in how you get around then." We were curious how such a new player thought of alternate means or was he just toughing it out with sprint. He didn't says so I super sped out to him to give him an Accelerate Motabolism to run to the mission faster. I found him up in the air flying... Apparently he didn't know that 'Fly' was classfied as a travel power.... Now that is a telling statement from a more 'innocent' point of view.

    With the right key binds Super Jump can be social too. Steering sometimes must be considered occasionally but I can chat as much as everyone else, and sometimes I will take a bathroom break while jumping... its the ++up command that I can't keep memorized for some reason. I bind it to "u" and then hit "r" to run and I'm mostly hands free to chat.

    Fly is fun to experience for a short time but becomes a chore when doing story arcs or TFs when running from mission to mission with a pick up group is mandatory. I do think the speed to should ramp up as levels progress like Super Jump improves as you go up in levels.

    Then what about power like Granite Armor?
    Not a mainstay?
    or EVERY level 32 pet power in the controller ATs?
    Defenders too... Dark Servant now is nice with new Fear effect.
    Fulcrum Shift, according to posters, is nice
    EM Pulse.. again, posters have bragged
    And all those nice attack powers for at level 32 for scrappers

    These powers seem like mainstays... I'm not saying everyone has mainstay level 32 powers but a lot do. Why can't invuls? just bring it down a bit not change it completely.

  8. When/will the ability to tranfer heroes from one server to another be available? If it becomes available, how will dupe names be dealt with? Opportunity to rename so I don't end up with "HeroGuy.1"

    This is 100% false. A creature without motivation is a slug, the proverbial bump on a log. You don't wake up in the morning and decide on whim to destroy the world or rob the bank. Even the dog telling you to do it is motivation - granted you're insane, but it's motivation.

    AH! but "the Blob" (depending on which version of the movie I guess (NO, not the Marvel character, the oozing pseudo alive creature) was consuming as part of its nature, and perceived as evil, and "good" people, heroes if you will, battled against it. Its possible to have a human form bad guy with a blob attitude, consuming or doing its natural "thing". And yes, I would not mind playing a Villain who carries out that style of "evil". So I guess I'm agreeing with you because the slug/blob thought is very close, but I'm disagreeing only that I think it is and should be possible to play an origin/motivation like that. I consume because my physical state causes me to grow, and do such things, not because I benefit from it.

    Why move them immediately? Why can't they be in the hero mix still? Um.. lying.. .yo!, you lie, and deceive people into trusting you so you can function in your normal hero society while you secretly brood and build your evil empire. I mean come on. There isn't instant Evil guy funding. You take the resource of good and secretly put it towards evil, and wait till its all done for the right for the big reveal. The Fallen Hero TF can be you and your minions or fellow Falling Heroes stealing all the materials you need, under a different look (pantyhose masks and such) to create your evil persona. Mission objectives: Building Materials, Information, Bank Heist for money, assasinate people that are going to reveal your secret plot, Evil unvailing party (public selfish deed)... SOOooo easy to pull the wool over the eyes of naive heroes!!! muh ahahahahahaha.
  12. You know, I'm really glad to see this post. I know its possible to power game up characters quickly to these levels and its possible that you got these guys up to these lvls as fast as I got my lvl 38 (tank), 34(controller), 25(controller)and a myriad of lvl 20 and under up to their lvls, but man, no matter what your technique, whether you power lvled or you are just the most efficient person ever, that is a lot of time in game. I had a friend that rocketed up his defender to lvl 20, got bored, brought up a blaster to 31ish, got bored, finally went to another server to start a role play SG to keep it fresh. It just proves to me that a steady pace is much more enjoyable. I like to complete something quickly that I pay monthly for, yes, but this time, I think I'm going to go at just a steady rate for a while. I'll get Epic AT some day. Who cares. Oh and the Carebear guy must be the greatest guy over. I hope some day I will be a master like him............... &lt;oh come on, I'm allowed a little sarcasm&gt;

    I have played a *lot* of this game and I've still only taken two characters past level 20. I can't even fathom playing enough to take multiple characters into the 40's.

    I'm not interested in PvP, myself, and even if I was, I never got CoH with the expectation that it would be added anytime soon.

  13. I've read most of this these post, but many more have been added since, so hopefully I'm not repeating an idea. The argument has been made that at high lvls a well built controller replaces a Tanker. And we want SS to be more "comic book feel" as Statesman said. Well, in comics, I like seeing 3 things from Super Strength Tankers.
    1. They pick up stuff and throw them (Hurl is too slow, but I would keep it, after respec, if it had Propel animations or a small AoE damage or knockdown effect around the target. just more personality for us folks that use hasten and don't need a filler power.
    2. they grab people and give them the "hug of love". Or grab them with one hand and that person doesn't move. Single Target, Melee range Minor DoT, Hold. Perhaps its a toggle that has chances every tick to be broken. (I know, I know Animation/Game engine nightmare. I'll bring you coffee the nights you stay up late making it happen.)
    3. they grab people and throw them. I won't be too greedy. They dont have to throw them into other people. Perhaps a better fix for Hurl is to convert it into this style power. The amount of time that it takes to pick up a badden throw them, they land and get up, is very hold like and very tanker like. I think #1 is only possible if "items of opportunity" were available but piece of pavement it thrown otherwise.

    SIDE NOTE: in comics they carry big heavy stuff around with no effort. I see no way to place this casual ability into combat but perhaps a Super Group building a base in later releases should get a building discount for every Super Strength Tanker on their team, because they replace bull dozers and cranes.
