Base love? *Dies from shock*

Ok, I'm in. When can I start?

Is the Tournament victor badge still borked? Thats the last PvP badge I need (Along with the accolade of course). If it isn't Borked, exactly what do you have to do to aquire it?
Also I am on Justice server, any interest in putting something together to get this badge?

Base Repricing
1) How will the repricing of bases affect you personally?
Well it would be nice to get extra prestige, so we will be able to expand our base even further,

2) Will you dismantle your base to gain the additional prestige from the repricing?
OMG No. If I was forced to do this I wouldn't even bother.

3) How long would this process take you if you were to engage in this practice?
Well Considering it took 4 days (6 hours at a time) to build, plus extra time to expand, dismantle, and juggle bins, crafted items and my minor Floats, possibly upwards of a week.

4) What are the positive and negative concerns regarding repricing?
Positive: easier for basebuilders to do what they want to do, faster expansion for bases/SG's.
Negative: Dismantling bases to recieve refund.

5) How will this feature affect you long term and short term?
If I had to dismantle my base, I wouldn't even bother. It's also a possiblity I would just cancel my account. The basebuilders have been waiting for some base love, which has never come. I feel I speak for a large portion of us: Enough is enough.

Base Salvage Exchange to Invention Salvage
1) What is the negative effect on your base for this feature implementation?
None, except the cost of Invention salvage may rise to an extreme.

2) What is the positive effect on your base for this feature implementation?
I rarely use base salvage to craft anymore, I mainly convert invention salvage now, it would simply streamline the process.

3) How long will it take you to adjust to learning this new system?
About 3 secs.

4) What side effects to this system do you currently see from transitioning the old to new system?
Cranky people.

5) What security concerns do you have regarding this change?
Other than the rising cost of salvage at WW's and what would happen to the few pieces you need? Like Weapons of Mu or Unstable rad pistols?

Additional Notes: My Real concern is that this game needs an overall update. Champions Online and the New DC universe online games seem to be further advanced than CoX. What happens when everybody jumps to one of those games? To compete CoX needs to get some super hero stuff fixed and implimented. PvP needs "Fixed", Bases need to work, New zones, enemy types, story arcs. What happened to the Character creator Ver #2? Step it up gang.

Other Info: 2 1/2 years old, Mid-sized SG of active players. Theres about 12 of us everyday players. We have launched a Villain group and are planning to expand to another server soon.

Theme/requirements: We Require That all members be Friendly, Upbeat and tolerate no infighting/insulting of any member of the SG or Coalition. We have a 30 day inactive dismissal policy. Our Theme is that your toon Must be some form of Evil turned good. You don't need to make a Vampire Toon as Vampires employ many agents of Darkness. As long as your Dark, Sinister, Evil, Monsterous, Vigilante, Inhuman or Un-Natural looking/named/story.

Strangely enough I also play the game with the sound off sometimes (When on Vent) and I would actually turn this on. Jokes on you Devs.... people like this idea!

I actually do like what this new issue looks like and the new zone/costumes/VEATs look cool.

I was just showing my disdain for us in the BaseBuildersInc. Group. It was said at one of the Meet and greets (Forget which one) that the bases (Issue 6 material) was not forgotten and our laundry list of bugs and desire for new content would be addressed. Everytime we ask we get that same line. How would you feel if Whatever it is that you love in this game was broken for 6 issues?
So hey, gimme a break.

What about the BASES!!!!!!!! Omg Issue after issue, the base builders get the promise... "Its not forgotten.... We'll fix the bugs.... We'll add more content...."

Ok Issue 12, I call Bull! You broke your promise. Yes all this new stuff is great and very much so needed. I bought CoV for the Super Bases and for 6 whole issues, roughly 50% of the updates and 100% of the life of the base... they have been forgotten.

Nevermind. Forget I ever brought it up. Next time I have an idea I'll just write it down and burn it. I'll just let you guys decide what is best for me. Thanx.

No, have any of you tards read the entire post? I'm the one who started this thread. I have been asking the Dev's on this. I will keep playing. I did NOT ask your opinion. I just feel that this is something I feel strongly about, and others agree. I dont see what the big deal is here. I dont understand why you guys run up here screaming NO! I will never have as many badges as Beef will, I do not have celebrant. I was not here. I do not have the halloween badges. I was not here. I dont have winter lord either. I will never ask for them either. This entire time I have never wanted to be given the badge. I just want to earn it.
Also all that techno blah blah you guys keep shoveling at us, really they cant do it? They cant make such a drastic game change? Fine. Take my toon and change her back to lvl 1, put her back in outbreak, take everything off of her excapt my badges. Can they do that? They sure could. If they cant do that, they need to go back to programming school. If I want to send my toon back to lvl 1 why do you even have an opinion about it? Did you pay my monthly fee? Did you put money into my computer so the game would run? Last time I checked no you didn't. I know many people that would happily do this, this would give them much pleasure and loads of fun playing there toons all over again and NC Soft would get more money off of us. Whats so wrong with that request? I feel that your input on the matter isnt relevant. If you dont want to do then so be it. But we do. People make requests all the time, this one is no different. In no way, shape or form are we asking to be given anything. We would like the chance to do it all over again.

exactly what Beefcake said. I've seen people cry about less and get it, I've seen them cry about more and get it. I as well have never popped in and said "NO NO NO NO!!!!" If thats what you want and it doesnt screw with the game dynamics, then why not? Us badge collectors just want it for our own collections. To us its worth a piece of something special, but in the Grand scheme of things it does nothing to alter or Toon (cept maybe an undername). Everyone I see has the badge and if they dont, they dont care because they dont collect badges.

Do you acyually play this game or do you just sit in the forums "Poo Pooing" everyone ideas from your Ivory tower? What upsets you SOooooo Much about our badge hunting and Isolator? It isnt Fair!!!!! You sream out, then try to cover it up with intelectuals. Its just a stupid useless badge that I would like to have in my little badge window, I am not asking for the ones come and gone. Every time you respond it seems that you dont want us to have this badge and now you hold IT aloft like a victory over us. Jeez man lighten up.

I am beginning to see your point Beef... The new question is why dont you guys want US to get the badge? I thought this was a stupid badge? Is it that you have something we dont? Neener Neener? If the Dev's allow us to get this badge, no matter what insidious design they come up with, I will do the steps needed to aquire the one badge that mocks me.

ok now its a 52+ page question. That only solidifys my point. If this wasnt something, we the customers really care about would it become such a thing? For the developers not to do something for us only proves to us your lack of care for our wants and desires. I7 also shows this. I7 is full of upgrades for CoV, which in my opinion CoV desperately needs, but CoH gets reflective windows.... Gee Thanx. Whats next, I8 where the villians get the city and the heroes get a big up yours? Developers how can you just sit idle (AFK) to this?

For us Badge collectors we cannot reroll. We would lose al the othe event badges come and gone. Xmas, valentines and hallowen badges. All for isolator. Its just isolator. Can we please just get it? Are the developers still listening to a now 12 page long question?
