Alex these are all so awesome it's hard to pick a favorite, even from my own character!

    Word.
  4. I have such screenshots on one or another of my computers. I'll look around and see.
  5. That came out terrific, definitely worth the trouble.
  6. I see that March will be chilly.

First batch: Tava, Dewgirl, Ninja Bee, and Reverse Turkey

Sorry about the lack of costume on Dewgirl, that was Felicia's idea, I was gonna draw her in her original outfit

98 is amazing. My grandma recently turned 94; still drives herself to play canasta with the girls. (Many of them her high school classmates, amazingly enough.)

In honor of grandparents everywhere, I'd like to submit my oldest character, John Bull.
  10. This one is almost disturbing. Due to the combination of power FX, it looks like we're eviscerating Kurse. (From the Faultline mission where you rescue Fusionette and Arbiter Whatshisname.)

    Blam! Splork.
  11. Nifty galifty. Was that hard to do?
  12. Hard to say. The cathedral does stand out in the second one, but you lose the ghost. You should do a layer mask and fade out the area around the cathedral only. That way you keep both.
  13. Interesting backstory. I like the hint that both Dr. October and Psilocin are manifestations of his nightmares.

Spelling note: "There psyche burnt to ash," should be, "Their psyches burnt to ash."

    Hiatus Images

More nice work from you, I enjoyed those.
  15. Why do I have the Woody Woodpecker theme in my head?
  16. Cool, I was hoping you'd post that. (I was Sergeant Shield.)

    Here's a not-as-pretty raw screen cap.
  17. Here's a guy I saw in Atlas last night. Looked cool, especially with the eyes rolling around in the sword and shield. You can kind of get that if you click between each screenshot.

hold page up and use your mouse to rotate the camera around

Or hold down the mouse scroll wheel while moving the mouse around.

I guess that's one gripe I have w/ Vista it doesn't like it when I do that in-game.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I haven't had that issue with Vista, but any screenshot I take is of whatever was on screen five minutes earlier. It's not an issue for in-game screenies, but when I try to capture a shot in the loading screen or tailor window then paste it into Photoshop, it happens.

I'm curious to know what model they used for the Riot shield. My "riot" shield looks nothing like that one :P

    Oh well though... close enough.

You might be thinking about the PPD Riot Shield, rather than the Riot Shield.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm on the Pubic Order Unit with my Service so I'm pretty sure I know what my shield looks like. The big Solid is more of a bullet repelling type that a SWAT team would use.

    [/ QUOTE ]

They both look quite a lot like the kinds of riot shields various police units use. It might not be identical to the one you use, but it's close enough for government work. (See what I did there?) Are the Paragon trains identical to the subway you ride?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I do see your point, but it kind of kills the immersion when the shield you are using has 'fatal' design flaws to it.

And by 'fatal' I mean that the current riot shield, if used in RL would probably do the officer more harm than good if in a Riot situation.

    [/ QUOTE ]

What flaws are those? (Honest question, as I'm curious.)

There are lots of things in the game that don't quite match up to real life. Is there a single Tanker Super Strength attack that in any way matches the real punch it's named after? You just have to ignore that stuff and write it down as how the rules in an alternate world work.
