Actually, I think most of them don't CARE. I sure don't.
The market is what it is. If it gets changed, people will adapt and life will go on.

Paragonwiki has feeble search also. On that site, I use Google to search and restrict the search to the paragonwiki.com domain. I wonder if that would work here?

The people without SG's can just go to Wentworth's or Icon or whatever. We have personal vaults in our bases and invention worktables. Anyone without an SG has to visit a public Vault Storage or University.

Are you referring to the suggestion to back everything up?
If so, find a way to make it happen. Unless, of course, you're okay with losing EVERYTHING on your computer. OS upgrades aside, you should have back-ups anyway. With computers so omnipresent in our lives, it is no longer a question of *IF* you will suffer a hard drive failure or some other catastrophic data loss. It's only a question of *WHEN*. I've had a total hard drive failure TWICE so far.

Really? I never see any such broadcasts. The only related thing I see is people looking for more for speed runs of task forces since those require you to have more people on the team.
  6. Do you put it in the window for Christmas?
  7. Unless I'm misremembering, wasn't the whole bit about half debt in missions implemented with the EXPLICITLY STATED GOAL of getting people off the streets? (To reduce zone lag.)
  8. Glad you were able to sell it.
I'm guessing you were the guy on the market channel who didn't want to post it at Wentworth's since he didn't have enough influence to list it at a reasonable figure.

And yet they let the requirement for the Empath badge stand for such a long time, even after PUBLICLY admitting it was a TYPO. Then they finally reduced it. Then they reduced it again by ANOTHER factor of ten.

    The mind boggles, eh?

Well I've done that on quite a few items (even waiting up to 1-2 weeks or whenever I log the char. back in) and still don't get the item. Now this excludes recipes or salvage that I try to 'low-ball' to get a purple or what have you at a really cheap price.
Well, it has to be a realistic price, and that requires some background knowledge. Like today, I need a Simple Chemical. The last 5 sales were 40,000 <snort of amusement>. I put in an EXTRAVAGANT price that was less than 1/10th of that and went to do other stuff. The bid filled in less than 30 minutes.

    Anyway:
    1) This has been suggested lots of times.
    2) Cool avatar.
    3) "Davy Bowie's Locker... I mean Jones! JONES!" Just curious - you know that David Bowie was born David Jones, right?

Actually, you don't need to be on a team to get the healing badges.
Also, don't forget, there are six badges for mentoring.

In fact, the vast majority of badges have no solo/team bias. You can do them either way, depending on your personal preference.

i honestly cannot believe there isnt one or a few already, considering you get AE badges, which is like getting rewarded for being a good PLer or doorsitting.
Perhaps you or the people you play with PL and/or doorsit. I don't. And yet I somehow managed to get all the AE badges. Imagine that.

There aren't a lot of badges that require teaming. And I would say there are only 7 that directly reference teaming - the six mentoring badges and the AE badge that specifically is for a full team effort. What would you suggest for a 'soloers badge'? Spend X hours *NOT* on a team? Doesn't that seem silly?
  14. I'm in for team one with Agent Pitchblende, earth/rad.

This is subject to debate. There is now a great scarcity of mid-range level recipes. When you got a random TF recipe, it was at the TF level. Now, when you take a random roll, it's either at your level or as high as the set goes.

    Let me explain it.

  19. Firstly, there was no such nerf.
Secondly, you probably shouldn't use the term 'Patrol XP' since that applies to something completely different.

People are encouraged to do instanced missions by two factors:
    1) End of mission bonuses.
    2) The debt you receive when defeated is HALVED inside instanced missions.

I would suggest they are also encouraged by variety and stories. I find street sweeping boring.

As long as we're all clear that running at +4 does nothing to give you more purples.

BTW, I got 4 in 3 runs today.
Two were 'junk', but two were Ragnaroks.

It's not laziness at all, as you correctly point out in your second paragraph. The system has an inherent bias toward the production of level 50 recipes.
