Hehe, i think i've still been misunderstood. The point i was originally making was an explanation for the 'how do these praetorians get to our world?' question. I wasn't saying that my character was going to be part of this team, merely trying to help out on some of the conceptual problems you seemed to be having by saying how i'd got round it.

I dont think it does at all. I dont see the praetorian universe as a 'polar opposite' of ours. I see it as a world where right and wrong is blurred. People dont have a sense of what they should do, merely what they Can do. The super powered ones have power, therefore they can take charge, therefore they do. My character just wanted to help himself, so he didnt want to aid Tyrant - as it would be counterproductive. But he didnt expect Tyrant to turn on him so suddenly. The arrival of the heroes from our world showed him that things can be different. Life doesnt always have to be about fighting to survive and be top dog, but that the powers can be used to help.

I know it may not fit your idea of it, but I like it for several reasons:
a) the main one being i dont enjoy villains really. Simple as that.
b) i didnt want to make an energy brute, energy stalker or an AR corruptor. I have 2 evil clones already, one is an energy brute, one an energy stalker, so i've done that path. Dont want an AR corruptor, as iv done AR for 50 levels, im not bored of it, just cant stand not having all my powers - nothing new to look forward to.
c) Wanted a tank, never played one. Energy/willpower looked, and is, great fun.

Kind of long winded in the end, for a pretty pointless explanation of my own opinion, which makes no difference to anyone else.

What i was actually trying to originally put across was the method of getting the praetorian characters to our world.
But i think that got bypassed. Ah well.

Well i have already created a praetorian version of Infinitron, unfortunately he is also a hero. Story was that Tyrant wanted him originally to build his army, but Infinus (Infinitron's name is Joseph Infinus btw) refused to help him. This ended up with Infinus being locked away by tyrant.
When tyrant captured statesman, and heroes attacked to save him, Infinus saw that he didnt have to use his powers for evil. His rage allowed him to break free of his cell, and try to escape. The rescuing heroes from our dimension saw him, and mistook him for Infinitron, assuming he had come to help, and then taking him back through the portal with them.

Dunno if that is a viable enough solution.

Heroes come through to defeat some praetorian baddies, your praetorian versions jump them and steal the return teleport devices and away they go.

interesting ideas. But too much... "like ghost widow", if you give people the signature characters powers - they lose their uniqueness.

Anyway, more hero powers please, not silly villainy rubbish :P we're the ones who have been good.

Hero Blinded

Midday yesterday, the leader of MoX Supergroup, Infinitron was badly injured whilst single handedly stopping a rikti invasion force destroying the Terra Volta power station. Here is an eye witness account of the event, from security guard, Dwayne Johnson:
"Those creatures were terrifying, they were about to kill me im sure when Infinitron came in smacked the [censored] out of 'em. He stormed into the next room in a rage, and methodically eliminated every single of those alien things in there. But as he got to the door at the far side of the room, there was someone else in the way. It wasn't a rikti, the figure wore an arachnos helmet, was armour clad and had claws. There was an exchange of words, and then suddenly this figure just uppercut Infinitron with his claws - smashed straight though his helmet it did. I hid, and this man then led the remaining Rikti out of the building. It was then i managed to get to a phone and phone the authorities."
The description of the assailant ties in with descriptions of an inhabitant of the rogue isles, and servant of Arachnos - Dark Ebon Spider.
Infinitron was taken to Indepence Port hospital, and is said to be in a stable condition, but has lost the use of his right eye. Will this be the end of our great hero? How will he function without depth perception? We wait, and hope. Our prayers are with him.

Ok, was a wonderful event, with much less spamming and crazyness than expected. Maybe the prospect of the huge prize kept people quiet. Or maybe they were just stunned by my awesome costume. Who knows?

Ok, so I wanted to do a picture of Mothers Love to say thankyou for the service she has provided for her extensive career - she was a great help as I stumbled and fell in the Hollows all that time ago. Reaching the pinnacle of her career when she won our MoX gumball rally. She has been a role model, and hopefully a friend.

Anyway this piece began as just a portrait, then I realised I wanted to do more, so not only is this now a scene, it also has significance to some of my backstory.

The scene follows on from the creative backstory i created here .

The pic shows Mothers Love visiting Infinitron after his ordeal with Arachnos, and possibly bestowing some of her healing prowess.

Another enjoyable little read there Mr. Fox; Vahzilok was my first AV and i was so excited when i was asked to help defeat him. Its when the game really took off for me as i had read the comics and here he was straight out of em, the man that had supplied the baddies for a large majority of my missions. Well told.

Yay more story.

And may I say, probably the most amusing yet, some of those jokes are actually pure Gold.. then bone casting/prophecy is inspired. And the guard comment at the end. Love it mate, keep it coming. I might have to meet Mr Fox... sorry Foxbow at some point, an interesting chappy indeed.

I like this piece, love how its on the CoH skyline background, and the colouring is lovely and vivid.

One or two [hopefully constructive] criticisms; the pose is dynamic... but your toon is kinda smothering the guys face... not really 'cool'.

Also the definition on your toons legs could be better, kinda lloks like its made of rubber and has been bent round instead of an actual toned leg.

Very nice, love the style... but yeah, the AR lets it down. Need more little detailing on it, and it doesnt looking like he's actually holding it.

Apart from that, love the poses and the fact its digitally coloured makes me envious to the max.
