A fellow SG'er still needed the Master of 5th Column and another SG'er had never done it before, so that's what we ran. Sadly, 2 deaths on the final mission (from the same guy that had never done it before) but it wasn't totally his fault. I was slow to taunt the extra AV spawns and they pounced him twice.

Master of Lady Grey TF failed on two attempts. First attempt, tank was ganked when facing the 3 EBs while the team was fighting off mobs of rikti. Second attempt, a squishy got taken out by a pylon. We had a solid team, good communication, well coordinated. We just had a little bad luck two times in a row. Everyone still had fun, and that's what it all boils down to in the end.

STF was completed in 1hr 46min but still no Master badge yet. We had a really solid team and good teamwork, but a few folks got a little overzealous against Dr Aeon and we had 2 deaths (and by overzealous, I mean Aeon completely ignored the taunt and said "oh look, squishies... Lunch time!"). We finished the whole TF with only 8 or 9 deaths, none of which were against Ghost Widow or Lord Recluse. Everyone had fun and for the few folks that havent done a Master run before, it was good practice for them.

I didnt mention your name, Fitz. I was speaking generally. The post wasnt directed at you, but was meant all encompassingly to give a general idea as to why some people are jerks.
And yes, I do have you on ignore in game. -
Batman spent years trying to understand the psyche of the criminally insane. Sometimes, people are mean for no other reason than they know that doing so will irritate you and others like you. It's true that acting selfless and working towards the greater good is a bigger challenge that is more fulfilling than "kicking kittens," but some people arent interested because it doesn't make them laugh until they shoot milk out of their nose.
Some are Villains and some are Heroes. Often times, the only way to win is by not given the Villain the satisfaction of an argument. -
Here's to Dad, the first superhero many of us ever knew.

Master of Lady Grey TF failed after 2 attempts. The key to successful completion is teamwork and the ability to listen to instructions, and we just didnt have those factors this time around.

Quote:this has already been addressedInstead of making a new ridiculous channel with lack of membership and activity, did it occur to you that LB mods are able to modify the MoTD to say something along the lines "PST @Anonymous for MoSTF 5/14"? It won't take much space on the MoTD if other events are occuring that day, week, or month.
Quote:The word usually spreads like wild fire from there anyway and I'm sure it'll find its way into LB. Cappy is also usually pretty good about posting stuff like that in the MotD with enough notice so I'll try to make sure he knows about it. -

I set MoLGTF as last because i figured it shouldnt take them a month to publish the fix. Hopefully it'll be fixed by the time we're ready to do it (June 19th) and it won't cause any interruptions to the schedule.

I love running the shard TFs and can usually be convinced to run them whenever anyone asks. So even if you can't make it this Shaturday, just hit me up next time you're online and I'll put one together for you

Quote:this saturday is Justin Augustine TF starting in the Chantry. The Master of TFs starts next saturday
I can't make this Saturday, but I'll be there for as many as I can -
The Crimson Order invites you all to participate in our next round of scheduled repeating events starting on May 29th, 2010 when we will run one "Master of Task Force" every Saturday at 2pm Eastern time. We will run them in the following order:
(links to ParagonWiki)
Master of Statesman
Master of Imperious
Master of 5th Column
Master of Lady Grey
Because these task forces can be grueling under the required challenge settings (no deaths, no temporary powers), I cannot guarantee success on every single attempt. It would be a good idea to run these TFs with a normal team and be familiar with the content, enemies, and usual strategies prior to attempting the MoTF challenge. With that in mind, I'd like to lay down a few ground rules:
1) If a death occurrs in the first 10-15 minutes or within the first mission, it will be an automatic restart. Simply meet back in the zone of the contact and send a tell to the team leader so you can be reinvited.
2) If a death occurrs outside of the above time frame, a restart can take place provided it is voted unanimously by members of the team.
3) No more than 3 restarts unless it's a persistent team and everyone is ok with doing more than 3 attempts.
These are just ground rules and are subject to change based on the team morale and tenacity. Teams will be formed on a first come, first serve basis so try to arrive early. The use of ventrilo will be available and the server information can be obtained from a Crimson Order member on site.
Thank you and happy badging

this weekend we'll be running Justin Augustine - lvl 44-50 (42 merits)
This will be the last shard TF we run for a few months. Next weekend kicks off the Crimson Order's next repeating scheduled event, Master of Saturday. Instead of shard TFs, we'll work on the badges for Master of Statesman, Master of Imperious, and the rest.
Shadow Shard Shaturdays will be back after we run each of the MoTFs successfully several times over. However, the date is TBD -
dude, that's really interesting. I looked into this today and thought about registering to become a guide. I could totally register for "specialist" in the Star Wars category (if they had one)! LOL I might hit you up so you can get the reference credit if I do it. I could certainly use the extra cash since I need to get a new motherboard, 4 more GBs of RAM, I want to SLI bridge my GTX 275, etc etc etc

I have only attempted the Hami raid twice, and failed both times. However, I feel I now have a pretty good grasp of the mechanics and I am much more experienced now than when I originally tried it. The second attempt at the raid was with me leading it and I had no idea about the blooms! LOL that was an adventure. Ultimately we failed, but if you ask anyone that was there I think they'd say they had a good time. So I'd be willing to participate/coordinate/help out in any capacity.
