Apologize if this is not the right place for this.
I recently renewed this account and my forum name has the _NA attached to it. I understand this is from the EU forums being merged over. I have a EU game account linked to my master account, and before the merge was using the same forum name. Basically, i own both Incursion_NA, and Incursion_EU. How do i change them? Is that possible? I remember we used to be able to change our forum names via our profile but there doesn't appear to be the option.

It operates exactly the same as Hold suppression. Initial Cage will take full effect. Any additional cages will not take effect until the "suppression" period ends.

FWIW, we reverted out the "Not affect players" change to TK, and changed Break Frees to 50% Repel Resist, and 100% resist for Medium and Large inspires.

25% = 4 BFs needed to obviate the effect.

i think castle mentioned the repel bug was going to be fixed by adding KB/KD suppression to certain powers that didnt have them coded correctly, or something like that. -

I'm simply saying that your conception of PvP is based on misinformation or a misunderstanding of how pvp combat works. At least in some aspects.

Your actual suggestion wasn't all that bad, even though i'd rather prefer it a little differently. Perhaps the click able verison would work, but then when factoring in IO's, recharge etc...will the power be ultimately not worth using, or still overpowered?
Ideally i wish the toggle would shut off after a min as suggested prior. Maybe they can just add repel supression after a certain amount of time, say like 30 seconds worth or something. This may allow the player time to get out of TK range, or defeat the player using TK. -

Please stick to your guns on this one. Some powers just weren't designed with PvP in mind. This is one of them and it is not inappropriate for it not to work in PvP.
Many people here are thinking solely from how this nerfs their character and not how this might open PvP to others. Taking away all the PvE designed tools that are extremely unfair against players would do much to make PvP more desirable IMO.

No need to completely nerf it. It isn't over powered by any stretch in team oriented pvp. It is more of a soloists gripe. 2 BF's has been the best suggestion in this thread. Besides, most of the pvp'ers are suggesting the same thing. It isn't going to effect pve anyway, i think it's a good idea the pvp community gets heard on this one. -

Actually....That was tested, but later scrapped. Recasting powers like CM "dropped" the initial cm before reapplying it for a very brief moment meaning that for a split second you were lacking any mez protectiogn from the power and so long as any mezz powers were on you you instantly became mezzed then released dropping your toggles.
Because of that the change never went through and all aspects of powers like CM, Clarity, and O2 Boost still can stack from the same caster.

First let me address this. The reason why people get held through Phase Shift and Hibernate isn't because break free's don't work. It is because they ware off during your phase/hibernate, and when they do, if there is enough mag already stacked on you, the affect will take place. For example, It takes say 3 power boosted holds to hold your regen (not using real numbers). Say you are running one break free, and the mez caster has 3 or 4 holds on you. You decide to hit phase shift. If you still have 3 or 4 holds stacked when that break free dissipates, you will be held, and phase will drop.

But i had my sp/reg on yesturday and it was two doms i never seen befor in the zone a mind/ice and a fire/??? so i poped my big bf's, the expensive ones they add like 10mag def for 2min or so i used 4 and rushed to get the fire. He jousted and jousted me and the mind decided to help him, so i still attacked the fire figuring id get him before the mind got me, and in beetween being held a few times and forced to use bf's and retoogle i was put into tk. Also i didnt even mention a stalker joined in as'ing me while being tk'd. They backed me into the hero heavy held out of bf's, the hold fell just long enough for me to use my temporary phase and i jumped down into the base for my life. OK lol jeez i didnt come here to defend my honor just give my input on tk giving a relevent story of my point. And to further what im saying i'll even put my name out there, anyone who does triumph rv and comes to these forums knows about Ravens my sp/regen one of the toughest, most io'd out scrappers there, when you fight with me it's a tough fight and anyone who has seen me will attest i know my stuff.

[/ QUOTE ] Simply not true. Unless you have multiple repel powers working against you. If your toggles are down, you aren't getting any extra mag from your practiced brawler, or integration whatever. Also, you may lose your KB/KD protection, but you will not be repelled unless there are multiple repels being used.

i like it as a toggle, from the user, you know when it's working. From the person being tk'd's standpoint, i really only find it overpowering in the arena, and that you have to invest 4 inspirations to resist the repel. in zones, and some arena maps, you can get out of it. (not referring to KB/KD bug) If you popped as many break free's as you said you did, you shouldn't have been affected by the repel at all...not buying that story, unless you were popping them one at a time, not allowing any to stack. But if you had big one's it only takes 1 anyway.

Well, that should be fixed in I12, too. A lot of powers which Knockback Suppression is missing on are getting it added. That doesn't completely alleviate the issue, though, which is why I added the exclusion flag to TK. I'm willing to grant that that was a bit of overkill, though, which is why I'm posting here.

2 break free's would be a great start. It gives players a fighting chance, and doesn't completely neuter the power. In the arena, and sometimes in zones, players will likely be using break free's anyway to help against the holds, typically found in dominator and controllers (sometimes defenders). So, if they are popping a break free just so they don't get mezzed, using two small bf's to negate the repel affect would better their chances. As it is now, 4 break free's just to get out of repel means a lot of popping, in a very short period of time.
Now, i do realize that issue 12 is supposed to have some sort of combine feature with inspirations. However, i'm going to assume most players are going to still bring tier 1's for arena matches for what it's worth.

I would agree. The jabs in this thread are all in good fun. Mildly entertaining in fact. I just know there are some underlying feelings that are there, and its a shame because both these groups bring a lot to Champion, and its just a misunderstanding imo.

Lol, I only quit once, silly. But it is humorous nonetheless. And I think maybe you guys are putting DR in the same boat as the coalition itself. And you should know Void, that the actual DR guys never had a beef with VORI, hell we had practice with you guys. It was mostly the coalition groups (the PVE-oriented and RV farming) that had vocal problems with VORI.
Maybe I missed something while I was away from the game those two months, but that's what I remember from when I was there.

Gotta back Neo on this one m3z. The DR guys that PvP'd and that were only in DR (not coalition) for the most part liked all you guys. Sure there was some friendly rivalry, but i think they respected you guys more when they tried out test, and found out that it isn't easy. I've been so afk in this game, but i've hung out with you guys in lulz vori chat, and on the DR vent, and there really wasn't any hate. I know you guys felt like there was, but i think your targeting the wrong bunch. Sure, everyone has a few idiots, who get pissed and go off. It happens :/

You didn't invent the turtle, or were the first to sue storms. Tribute was using storm teams since before HVND even existed.
While, I'll give you that you were the first to use a "same name" team for disrupting targeting, FoL did in fact roll a bar code team soon after to have ready in case we ever had to face that ACE team again. As it turned out, the rest of the PvP comunity raised an uproar over it, and thus we ditched the project and never used it, but we did infact level a whole bar code team up to lvl 50, and I just recently renamed the bar code toon.
Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for HVND, and I miss having the rivalry that we had going back in the day. You were one of the most fun adversaries we ever faced.

As far as the turtle goes, we were the first group to use it successfully in a test server match besides tribute, who just steam-rolled everyone. Maybe "re-invented" but i prefer to say we influenced a style of gameplay that was a little different than what was thought to work against test competition. We used alot of stacked storm/forcebubble, and took players out of the match via detention field as they approached our turtle. After that, you saw a lot of other teams take a second look at bubblers, and then eventually sonics. But again, thats not to say other groups didnt have their hand in developing strategies that other groups adapted to. -
while the ace team failed in official matches, it was amazing in practice, trust meh :P.

When i was in hvnd, we used disruption teams, beat penance, and had the closest ever match with tribute back when they knew how to pvp and nobody else didnt. I thought that was a feat, especially when half our team was a bunch of pve nublets. But, i cant discredit the other hard working SGs then, and the SGs now. Though, i do think hvnd had some influence in bringing some uniqueness to the test scene. though, im not going to throw that in anyones face, because we definetely werent the only group.
