As I understand it, you only get credit for healing points that have fallen below the base HP.
If a person has +50 hp on top of their base, you'd have to heal them for 51 points or more for it to count toward the badge.... leastwise, that's how I recollect it. -
Quote:correct. So if I'm reading correct the bonuses are there all the time? The only ones that need you to click the power or slot in an auto/passive are the ones that have a "chance for" attached? That's pretty cool. Been playin a long time and never knew that... you really do learn something new everyday.
Which is why a lot of folks slot some of those "chance" procs into toggles if possible... Every time a toggle "refreshes" (usually 10 seconds) that proc will "have a chance" to fire.
Stealth IO's are not exactly "chance" procs, but putting them into your sprint, hover, or combat jumping toggles will give you near perma stealth. Every time that toggle "refreshes" that stealth IO will fire, giving 120 seconds (?) of stealth. Even when you turn the toggle off, you'll still have that last round of 120 seconds before it wears off. -
Quote:I know that you can't rep a person multiple times in a row... you have to give rep to others before you can "make the rounds" again. You're aware though that you cant give rep more than once for a single post?
And that doesn't necessarily stop someone who might have more than one account.
There are a couple factors that make me suspect a particular person, not the least of which is that the latest comment is nearly exactly what they said in one of their own posts.
You may be right, though... this person may just be going back and neg'ing all my related posts in a particular thread. Talk about a grudge, sheesh. -
Quote:But it doesn't stay closed.Exactly. If somebody REALLY doesn't want to see the comments either, they can just hit the (-) on that section:
It should stay closed every time you visit your CP.
I close all my options (subscriptions, mail, etc.,.) down everytime I log off, and when I log back on, they are almost always re-opened... and not just because there's something new in them.
And here's a question: Would it be considered harassment if you suspect the same person of neg'ing you for the same post over and over again?... even if the comment isn't necessarily "out of line"?
I'm getting hit by someone with a very high rep value, I suspect I know who it is, and I find it very rude. Once is enough, you've made your point, move on. -
Quote:"Resetting" how? ... did you have it floated for the water effect? or are you just looking for the normal slow field look?I did try moving the slow field, and then resetting it...
If you HAD it floated, but then you touched/moved it, it would default directly to the floor.... you'd have to re-float it. -

Quote:and THISHeh. My main base builder is a teleporter without hover. I do it all with camera angles and zoom.
Quote:I was gonna say, hover is OK for certain things, but far from a MUST. Just whip thye camera around and its easy as pie. I occasionally (read: very rarely) break out a hover toon if the angle cant be found, which seriously is VERY rare.
Quote:Well maybe it's the Hover that seporates the men from the Boys or have you. -

Quote:uhmmmm... have you tried using the Accent Lamp + Floor Tile method? It's taking me 30 minutes just to cover a wall with shelves having to use a safe to stack them on top of each other.
1. Accent Lamps stack on top of each other. I find that a stack of 3-4 is usually as tall as I need.
2. The floor tile will interconnect with the lamps. You can then "slide" the floor tile up and down the lamps to your desired height (sometimes adjusting the camera angle helps with this).
3. Once you have your floor tile at the desired height, you can actually move it around horizontally a bit. This is a little tricky and may take some practice. Think of moving it into an overlapping position. As long as you don't hit a wall or floor with the mouse, you should be fine.
Using the floor tile will allow you much more surface area to work with for setting up your bookshelves, floors, etc.,. Way more efficient than just using floor safes! -
*cracks open a cold one for Red Val*
Here ya go. No hard feelings, we was jus' playin'.
'Though it does look like my improvisational skills in rhetoric and posturing need a little dusting off. Sorry if it came off as too much "srs bnz". lol -
lol
very well played game!
I even enjoyed all the posturing on the sidelines.
Frankly, I saw the writing on the wall yesterday afternoon, even before the Corr's were taken out. But, hey, it was fun anyway.
btw, my main isn't even a tank -

I couldn't resist, the material was perfect. -
Quote:No tank needs it's hand held with some forum win, they let the wimpy scrapper compete, then beat the living tar out of them and take the trophy anyway.

Once I saw the lengths the scheming scrappers were willing to go to, I had only one choice if I was to keep the tanks alive... stand my ground against them. Which is exactly what I did. I did no plotting beyond that, though I may have allowed the scrappers to think I was in with them. My votes, however, tell the true story. -
In the two days that I have played the game, I only took one point from the defenders (and only to balance the points Red Val was taking from us).
The kill shot to defenders was sorrowfully inevitable, but I refused to take it, even when my other tank brethren would have encouraged it.
The proof of the scrappers scheming has already been presented. The defenders will surely see through your lies, EVIL Geko. -
Scrappers = 86
Tankers = 54
The scrappers united and devised a scheme to disable the corr's first, then demolish the defenders while simultaneously slowly bleeding the tanks.
In a quick skim of yesterday's posts, I counted the presence of no less than 30 scrapper accounts.... several of which religiously posted every hour.
Make no mistake... they planned it, and they executed that plan.
This is the final battle!
How many times has an uppity scrapper run off and split your team?
How many times has a careless scrapper scattered your carefully gathered mob?
Now these scheming cretins are throwing the proverbial gauntlet... AT US!!!
It's time to stand together, Tanks!
