IO's undoubtedly help and IO set bonuses help heaps. However, you are right in thinking that a Dark Armour can run on SOs alone. I have a Dark/Dark brute that is still slotted with only SO's and it runs perfectly fine. Now this may be because of the Endurance Recovery power in the Dark Melee set (Dark Consumption), though I still think with good end redux in toggles and attacks like you have listed, and very tactical micro management of which toggles your running like ClawsandEffect has mentioned, you should be able to cope. As you level up I would keep replacing the common IOs in your build with higher ones. As you probably are aware the level 25 common IO's are only 32% while the 50s are something like 42%. By the time you get those slotted and have mastered your micro management, you should be right as rain.

And yes, I can spot a Justice Vet a mile away, even one as tiny as you.

Personally, I'm not sure this really counts as a guide. It's more like a info listing of all the powers in the two sets as if you copy/pasted it straight out of each powers info page in game. But hey! if that's what counts for a guide these days, who am i to challenge it.

I tend to agree with the posters above me.. Not sure why you took Elec as a secondary, but again, whatever floats your boat.

If it's for PvE, I would have made either a Rad/MM or a Rad/Fire for all that AoE goodness.

If it's for PvP, I would have lol'd and then rolled either a Rad/EM or a Psi/EM or a Fire/EM

What the hell is it with old people?!

Do they think that because they're old they have a [censored] license to be rude or something?!

At work we have a 1-800 number that's literally one digit off from the old-age pension division of Human Resources Canada. So, at the middle/end of every month we get these old, [censored] codgers calling up (usually women, I'm not sure why) wanting to talk about their pension.

I always answer the phone the same way... "Flight Operations, [last name]" and what happens... ? "Yah, I recieved a letter in the mail, I haven't gotten my pension cheque... bla-bla"

WHAT PART OF "FLIGHT OPERATIONS" INDICATES TO YOU THAT I HAVE ANYTING TO DO WITH YOUR [censored] PENSION?! [u]LISTEN WITH YOUR [/i]EARS!!!![/i][u]

Then, as if that's not enough, once I make it clear to them, usually by having to say it five times that this is TRANSPORT CANADA, and not HUMAN RESOURCES CANADA (it's not even the same number of syllables for [censored] sake!!!), they then proceed to argue with me about what phone number they dialed!

If I'm lucky, they'll just hang up. No goodbye... nope, no "oops, sorry about that", nope. Just "Oh- *click*" as if it's my fault, as if somehow I've inconvenienced them.

That's if I'm lucky...

If I'm not lucky I then have to have a 15-minute conversation with some 70-year old French-Canadian woman who sounds very much like she was rode hard and put away wet about how it's MY fault that she misdialed and answer a survey about what number SHE dialed, what number she was supposed to dial, what MY phone number is and who the hell I am.

I had one old [censored] actually ask for my supervisor because he thought I was giving him the run-around. So convinced was he in his own infallibility that it never occured to him that he dialed the WRONG [censored] NUMBER!

I swear to dog, I'm going to surround myself with honest people and if I ever get to that point where I'm a rude, self-entitled old jerk that they'll just put a bullet in my head and bury me in a shallow grave somewhere, as befitting people who are [censored].

We don't. You'll find that slowly the population of both this game and this server are reducing.

With the developers latest moral stand on PvP, Power-gaming and Role-Playing, it's obvious that many Justicites are either leaving or have already left Justice for a more populated server. Those that aren't moving servers are moving games. I would discuss which games that they will likely be moving to:

Perhaps they do lose the right to name suppression, but doesn't NCSoft hold the rights to characters created in their game. If this is indeed true; then wouldn't the "Professor" in question need consent from NCSoft to use their "property"?

Whats even more interesting is that there is a link to "Twixt" in the story by Ramon Antonio Vargas in the OP that links directly to the Freedom Message Forums. Surprisingly though, it is still up and able to be read but the replies to it however are not. Access Denied.

Actually, the Carebear's declared that this was a petition worthy act and were immediately backed up by Carebear Headquaters (NCNC). Hence the placement of Police Drones in Portal Corp.

Also, just because no-one is in Portal Corp doesn't mean that you can not taunt monsters to the courtyard.
