  1. Alright, more screenshots as promised; it was a bit of work getting them, so I hope they are appreciated, and more importantly, convincing.

There are going to be a number of them, so I'm going to link them, rather than use image tags.

    Level 15:
    Seer 1381:
    Mission Availability: http://i45.tinypic.com/vqqicx.jpg
    Mission Text: http://i48.tinypic.com/al2r06.jpg

    Chance McKnight:
    Mission Availability: http://i47.tinypic.com/28jfkoo.jpg
    Mission Text: http://i46.tinypic.com/2mfn2c9.jpg

    Praetor Sinclair:
    Mission Availability: http://i48.tinypic.com/2evgnrd.jpg
    Mission Text: http://i49.tinypic.com/x6c6jp.jpg

Now notice that at Level 16 I can still continue the arcs of each contact, and they're all in the Active Contacts tab:
    Seer 1381:
    Mission Availability: http://i49.tinypic.com/2zt9iu0.jpg
    Mission Text: http://i47.tinypic.com/2mhhs7d.jpg

    Chance McKnight:
    Mission Availability: http://i47.tinypic.com/2je47js.jpg
    Mission Text: http://i49.tinypic.com/2d27mdz.jpg

    Praetor Sinclair:
    Mission Availability: http://i46.tinypic.com/33w62w9.jpg
    Mission Text: http://i45.tinypic.com/znpqbn.jpg

At this point, Praetor Sinclair is still giving missions. However, he discontinues issuing the arc missions upon completion of the third one, as evinced in the following screen shots. The salient point is the presence of the words 'Ask about available missions' located near the bottom of the window:

The Power to Control Part Two completion text: http://i47.tinypic.com/15x3cc7.jpg

The Power to Control Part Three completion text: http://i46.tinypic.com/2s8mpgg.jpg

Inactive Contacts tab with an arc icon: http://i47.tinypic.com/2uzytc4.jpg

Note that I cannot ask about available missions.

Allowing for completion of only part of the arc does not look like design to me. I think something got goofy in the construction after Part 3.

Also of interest is getting shot at by the ghost of BV in Part 2: http://i45.tinypic.com/5ffyoj.jpg
  2. Yes, Doctor Arvin is a Praetorian Resistance contact. Tell you what, give me some time to recreate this situation on another character, and hopefully shed some light on whether Doctor Arvin or Praetor Sinclair is the aberancy.

The reason I posted the Doctor Arvis screenshot is to provide direct evidence against this very claim. Starting an arc with contacts other than Sinclair allows you to finish them, even if you outlevel the contact.
  4. Howdy--

I was progressing through Praetor Sinclair's arc and I happened to hit level 16 during the course of it. However, upon completing the mission I was on, he would no longer assign the rest of the missions necessary to finish up the arc. I understand that his level range is 8-15, but in my experience with other contacts, even if you outlevel them, they will allow you to finish up an arc if you have begun it. I do not know if this constitutes a bug, but I find it odd.

I've included two screenshots: one features Praetorian contact Doctor Arvin appearing in my Active contacts tab with the Story Arc icon below his progress bar. There is still mission availability, despite the fact that this character is at level 11, outside of Arvin's 1-10 range.

The other screenshot is of another character at level 16 illustrating the issue with Sinclair. He is in the Inactive contacts tab; however, he still has the Story Arc icon below his progress bar, yet he will not assign the missions to complete it.

  5. It was a shame that we missed those two on the first one, though we ended up nailing it on the second run; everyone was extra on top of it.

When you decide to run a MoKeyes I am definitely in.
  6. Howdy Folks--

Some of you may know me as @Sagebrush; I'm going to be leading a Master of the Underground badge trial tomorrow night 6/9/2012 at 8 PM EST.

We'll be going for the following badges:

    Underground Seeker (Duh)
    Regenerate This
    Tour Guide
    Preservation Specialist
    Avatar Assassin
(and of course Master of the Underground for getting all five of those)

As for things that'll be a big help: I'll definitely want to get 2 or 3 snipers for the Bomb Hall, and some tankers that are comfortable holding/pulling the War Walkers and Avatar. Also Clarions: Clarions are definitely welcome.

Other than that, it shouldn't be too difficult, but here are tips that'll make things go smoothly, since they seem to cause some hang-ups otherwise:

-Folks should keep away from those holding the War Walkers' aggro. This will keep them from getting Targeted! or getting hit by its AoE. If you get Targeted! (It will say under your buffs, so keep an eye open), get as far away from the league as you can so you don't cause them to get hit by some nasty AoE.

-Keep Desi healed, except in the Trap Room. It doesn't help to have a few people with whoever has Desi, in case an ambush shows up.

-When we fight the Regenerating War Walker the first time, it does not matter so much where he is on the map, only that people keep spamming Glowing Lichen (the temp from the mushroom clickes) on him so that he cannot regen.

HOWEVER, after we take him down once, allow for the taunters to pull him into the corner of the room. The reason for this is that there will be less Lichen to heal him (they spawn in set places). And on that note, be sure to keep Lichen around him destroyed!

-Bombs. Bombs, bombs, bombs. Not much to say here except don't rush ahead, since the bombs trigger by proximity. I'll be calling them out and giving the order to charge, so stay behind me. I mentioned a Bomb Hall above; snipers will be taking care of that, so everybody can sit back and relax while that's happening.

-For Avatar Assassin, we'll want to bring the Avatar down to 5-10% health, then STOP all damage, until a Detonating Seedling spawns. If we take the Avatar down while a Seedling is up, we get the Avatar Assassin badge.

I'll be repeating all of this as necessary during the run of the trial of course. Other than that, hope to see a good turn out!
