The circus. It's home to the human cannonball, strong men, fire breathers and acrobats. Not exactly a place for Paragon City's superheroes and villains. But now, we want you to bring your own brand of circus to Paragon City. No, we're not clowning around.
Use any combination of costume pieces and head to Pocket D on the Virtue Server, March 28th 2012 at 11:00AM PDT (7:00PM BST/20:00 CEST) and 6:00PM PDT(2:00AM BST/3:00 CEST on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in Europe). You will not be judged by your biography, so make sure that your concept is clear by costume and name alone!
Our special guest judges for this contest will be Matt "Positron" Miller and Melissa "War Witch" Bianco!
As always, each semi-finalist will win an NPC costume code and the top three will win VIP Game Time! Official rules and details can be found here. Good luck! -
Today, I joined players from the Freedom server for Arc The Consequences of War #227331 by @Dalghryn
While we faced a familiar enemy in the Rikti, we came across some extra heroes along the way the help turn the tides of battle and also experienced some pretty excellent environments. And the dialogue, for lack of a better word, was fantastic. It's well worth your time to play through it!
Thanks Freedom and thank you @dalghryn! -

Quote:Signature should be fixed now. Thanks for the heads up.
Um, Hit Streak - you need to fix the Google+ link in your signature. It goes http://https://plus... (yes, I'm an editor when I'm not making videos.) -
Don't forget about Google+
Well done, Samuraiko. Exemplary work! -
Today, I joined seven players from Justice server for Arc #89438 "Facing the darkness" by @Leandro.
I must say, we were all impressed with the unique story provided by this arc and found the arc to be excellent fun. It's certainly worth a play through!
Unfortunately, due to a keyboard malfunction, I was unable to get a screenshot of the players involved! If you were there, and have a screenshot, feel free to share it as I'd love to see it!
Thanks Justice and thank you @Leandro! -
Quote:Yep, I was the brute with the baseball bat.I think so. He was a Brute iirc, but the secondary was something weird considering he had lightning eyes. Willpower, I think? He was level 1 and was just walk emoting and checking out the costumes, though. Zwill distracted me with the dev only doublefacepalm :P
Ever try to hit a baseball with a sledgehammer? It's not easy. -
Quote:I've been playing games since I received my Atari 2600 as a gift when I was 8 years old. I've owned every major console system since then and I've also been building my own gaming PCs since '98. I've got "quirks" of my own.Welcome. I really hope you are a gamer as we have certain personality quirks that do not exist in the rest of the world.
I really hope you last longer. I am not sure I would ever leave a job at paragon studios, but I also doubt they would want a soon to be professional counselor on staff.
Good luck, and welcome to the community. You will soon see that there are some things that we can be very passionate about. Also understand that many of us have "known" each other for over 7 years.
I've been reading the forums quite a bit since I came on board and it's easily apparent that City of Heroes benefits from passion from both its development team and community. I'm truly thrilled to be a part of both.
It's just a flesh wound. -
Quote:We've discussed quite a few things in the short time since I've come on board. First, Facebook will continue to be key as we have our largest audience there with over 50,000 people. But we want to explore ideas that will strengthen our communities on Twitter and Google+. We think Twitter is a great place to be a bit more casual with our fans while Google+ gives us a place to hang out (literally) with you.Welcome! What sort of social media are you planning to focus your efforts on?
We'll continue to syndicate important news items on all three networks, but we feel each network brings different, compelling opportunities to interact with you all. -
Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm excited to be a part of this community and I'm looking forward to interacting with every one of you.
