    Like last time I will probably only be able to clock in 2 hours total due to overcrowding and lockouts. And before it starts, I have been on Freedom for my entire 4 years of play, all my friends are there, and i will not move. I will accept the lag and lockout and wait for the event to end.
  2. For me this is nice. It's nice icing on a great tasting cake. I had one of the Pre-order Helmets and it was nice slapping it on my Soldier VEAT instead of the default one. With that in mind, I never used it on any other toon. With VEATS though, this is nice.

    As for the Recycled previousl Awards, again, its nice icing. I am a ranged player, rarely get into melee, so having a second ranged Vet power to complement my Nemesis Staff is nice. Sure I would liked to have instead seen two new "previously" Temporary powers with their bonuses keyed to At vice Origin, one of them melee and one Ranged where if you were a prediminantly melee AT like Scrapper, Tanker, Brute, Stalker, you got a bonus for the melee one and if you were a predominantly Ranged AT like Corr, Blaster, MM, Controller, Squid, Dom, you got the bonus for taking the ranged.

    A Broadsword/Stolen SMg option would have been super.

    But ultimately its all good to me. i just got my 48 Month.

    As much as I like a good nemesis plot, the posters complaining about the restrictions write coherantly and also respond to forum posts. Makes them a cut above the norm in fact

    Downloading patch now to see if the Range enhancer on ToTh is also corrected. You know, the one that doesnt exist.

  10. Yeah It is acting like those one shot badge missions. I am also testing to see if the Midnighter Arc which shows up in the 45-50 band for heroes is doing it as well. Otherwise I am still sticking with Deckarr.

With regards to the Bane Path, If I created a toon with the first slot costume designed to look like a Wolf Spider and I branch into Bane at 24, will I keep my Wolf Spider or will it alter my look like it does with crab by slapping that hurting backpack on? Also if I keep some of my Wolf attacks like Burst, will I still draw out my money machine gun or does it translate it to mace.

    Fingers crossed that the answers are No and Yes respectively.

  16. Yeah if you are just looking to rack up the X Ourboros missions completed QUICKLY, then yeah, use the badge missions as they are usually just one mission long (there are exceptions). Of course quick is subjective. If you are an Empathy Defender, nothing is quick. Quick reccomendations from me are based on the similar baseline I used for when I wrote the challenge badges, no mez protection, no armors, fundamentally squishy. And remember, Challenge Settings ARE NOT credited for these little one shot jobs, so dont bother setting them. They would be:

    1-14 - Break Up The Fight (Negotiator). Generally given by a contact in Kings Row, in Kings Row. The other one, which does award Spelunker usually takes you to Perez Park and though you are exemped to 14, it's still a PITA to travel through.

    15-19 - Vahzilok Wasting Disease (no other options there in that level range) (Plague Stopper). But you dont get the Disease (not in the badge only portion) The larger Story Arc (The Vahzilook Plague), yeah, but you are safe here.

    20-24 - Retrieve Stolen Weapons From Freakshow (PWNZ). I reccomend this over the other one because you are looking at BP and CoT.

    25-29 - Rescue the Mystics (Mystical Savior). Though its BP, its only one mission, the other one in this range is like 6-8 missions.

    30-34 - Stop the Pact Between the CoT and Nemesis (Corruptor). Yes it is three missions, but the other option is to save the War Walls and you can fail it, and I believe you dont get Ourboros mission credit for a fail.

    35-39 - Investigate the Hacker known as the Doctor (Doctor's Ally). 1 Mission, Crey. Cake Pieces. The other is Circle of Thorns.

    40-44 - Tough one here, but probably yeah, Investigate the Psychic Signal. There is an EB in here but with some inspiration use you can pull it. If you cant lay out the damage to drop kick an EB, then go with the other because though its a few missions long, there are no EB's.

    45-50 - Marauders Cell (Agent). Again another EB, but again Inspirations can help unless you have no damage dealing ability. This is one where I would actually reccomend doing the Arc range I reccomended earlier (The Strange Case of Benjamin Dekkar)vice the badge mission because of the ability to speed through it.

  17. Naturally some AT's are going to find some arcs easier than others. For about one tenth of one second I was going to write the guide based on doing the Hero arcs with my Emp/Psi Defender. Then I came to my senses when I realized that it wouldnt be finished for three years and then did it with a Blaster.

  19. I have recieved some PM's asking me if I was going to write up a Flashback Badging guide for villains. When I originally wrote the Hero guide I thought about it, but with so many small arcs on the V side, what Nericus did with his guide is as good as it gets and if I was to create something it would be both insulting to his/her work and to be honest, not as good. But I appreciate the good words people have spoken.

    At first I was thinking confusion could get it done like in PvP zones but I realized, no villains in there to confuse them, so I hazard to guess they will not be targettable.
  21. The core issue here is they can find the key to ending the Rikti invasion. Remember, when the Rikti first came to earth, they encroached on Oranbega and busted up the shields that were keeping the Circle of Throns deep lairs from being detected specifically by the Midnight Squad. Remember that the Circle of Thorns came from European mystics before they properly identified Oranbega as being under Paragon City.

    The announcement says familiar threat in ancient lands. I am thinking Circle of Thorns, not Nemesis and not the Rikti proper and not the Lost. I am thinking that with the Rikti having recently aquired the ability to wield Magic, the Circle is worried. ANd remember, though not publicly advertised to the citizens of Paragon, the Circle were major players in the ultimate repulsion of the Rikti from our Earth.
