Heh, that was my #1 gripe about it. By the time I realized it, I was too far to just erase it. The angle caused me quite a few problems, especially with the nose placement and the left eye. Though I can be much more precise with just a straight forward perspective, it's just not as pleasing to the eye.

Heh, I started on you this morning during school Plasma. I liked the look and the fact that you have a quote from Leeloo in your sig added extra kudos points.

I used the art you have in your avy as a reference, and made a couple of tweaks (Sorry, but I didn't draw the glow because it would totally take away from the eyes :P)

Well, I'm gonna start taking requests officially for some Anime-ish stuff. At this point, since I haven't perfected my bodies, it will just be portraits.

Basically, if you'd like to add your name to the pool, post here with a screenie of you toon. Now, be warned, I'm not going to be doing this in the order I get them. Some things such as hair, faces, etc just don't work very well with this style. I will probably start with people I know/are friends with, and then go on to people who I really like the look of. However, I will try to go by order to a point, just for fairness sake. My deepest appologies if I don't choose to do you. (Those who already signed up in the Starchasm thread will be given a bit of priority, as I'm just making a formal thread.)

Here's some suggestions about what would make me choose to draw your character:
1. Hair - Hair plays a big feature, the more distinct the better.
2. Eyes - Eyes are one of the most complex features in the entire thing. I will tend to stray away from pictures that have the eyes covered up, but I will at least try to give it a shot. (If you want the eye color different than in a screenie, just say so.)
3. "Accessories" - At the start at least while I'm still trying to perfect the perspective, I may not choose those with complex items on the face. Don't worry though. If I skip over you, that doesn't mean I'm never going to do it
4. Uniqueness & Personality - I really like things that are different. As well, if your toon has an interesting personality, I'll try to work it into the picture. I'm always looking to have fun with this, so it's a big plus if I can get a little creative.

I may experiment a little with different mediums, I'm considering doing it all digital from now on to get a smoother image.

It's horribly adorable.

Well, after plenty of searching I think I might have found a style I'm moderately decent at. Used watercolor pencils (Even with "inking" which was a huuuuuge mistake) on just some sketch paper. I'm actually pretty proud with this, though there are a few perspective issues (A few which were mistakes that I made while coloring it).
