I am wondering if they changed Lore Keeper. Took a VG mate to get it. we followed bot and in-game map and the vidiotmaps.com series that I used to get it a while back. He went to each plaque twice --- one in VG mode and once not --- and he did not get the badge.

I doubt it, Here, comapre where you went to here and see if you missed one.

Tarixus is confirmed for Lorekeeper. I just finished all his missions on test looking for any further bugs (only one is souviner is borked)

Cool. They must have patched like Positron had mentioned.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Right, I thought it had already gone live, my mistake. Point is though, that he's now unlockable with lorekeeper. Sorry for the confusion.
  5. You're refering to Crash Cage, but after you finish that contact you need Lorekeeper to get him to give you missions. Otherwise you're to uneducated or something like that.

I got to thinking (again). We dont know if the young man at the factory was the highest head on the totem pole. What if. WHAT IF the young man was a sort of heir apperant to the REAL clockwork king who really was a mad scientist and really WASNT maimed/killed by Blue Steel. If anyone has taken the time to think about it the clockwork in the rouge ilses shouldnt even be there. The mental pulse isnt strong enough. Who knows. What if the CK while he was human had a son? What if said son is possibly the CK in Paragon and the Father CK is in the Rouge Ilses? or viea versa?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm going to tell everyone wy there are Clockwork on the Rogue Isle, it's a spoiler for anyone who hasn't done the Aeon Conspircay arc.

    Spoiler ahead

Aeon bought Clockwork parts as scrap and suddenly they started putting themselves together as Bat'Zul, the big demon under Cap au Diable, started possessing them.

Alright, but we do know that he is just a Hero (in realitive terms) there. Which means he answers to someone. So sort of Nazi Cabal or more likely just one man. Reichsman probably attacked us thinking we were a serious threat and went through trying to crush us.

So why hasn't anyone come looking for him? Or why hasn't some Amerika Korp troops the 5th recuited (some of those missions must have succeeded) or that are sitting in the Zig looking for him? I mean, Recluse must have released some of them by accident when he broke into the Zig.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Why does he need to asnwer to anyone? Perhaps he killed Hitler, Requim and anyone else who stood in his way and said "I'm in charge, any problems? no? good". Perhaps there were no other superhumans on his planet besides him and as such there were nothing anyone on that Earth could do to stop him? He may simply have moved well beyond Statesman's role and become his worlds Nemesis.

Why didn't anyone come looking for him? Maybe because they are happy to be rid of him (especially the number two guy!).

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm assuming he answers to someone because he's refered to as a hero on his world. There was probably some super powered genocide, but I think for the most part he's not interested in ruling. Same as our Statesman he supports a system and helps it run while someone else does the acctual ruling. Besides, we don't need another Tyrant.

Ah, yeah. So they were probably like Freedom Phalanx Lite.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But that means I was right. Reichsman wasn't in charge, he just liked being top dog. Which means Requiem could be there. I imagine something like Requiem using Reichsman to kill the Center and Requiem assuming complete control. So when Reichsman is released he might be fighting for Requiem...

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, no, no. That doesn't mean you were right. Or I was right. Or anything. What we know is that Reichsman was the Nazi version of Statesman, and in his world the Axis defeated the Allies, creating Axis Amerika. Requiem, the Center, the Council, Nictus, SPIDER or Arachnos are all wild shots in the dark for their universe. Considering there's a seperate Council Earth, I would say it's a safe bet that Requiem and the Center didn't exist on Axis Amerika, existed but didn't quarrel, existed and died, or exist and haven't began their bids for power yet.

But either way, no one can be right about something that doesn't exist yet. You can make a decent guess though.

Personaly, I'm surpised Axis Amerika hasn't sent anyone through looking for him.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Like I said, on his world he may have been the only super powered being left, so he wouldn't be opposed by anyone who could possibly be his equal or better. What good would sending humans to a planet filled with heroes do? Other than that, he personally tortured information out of Webb to decide his course in attacking Primal Earth. It's possible no one on his home world knows how to get to our world, making it harder for him to get back to his.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm going with the numberous times the 5th Colum contacted them looking for troops might have tipped them off by now. While it says he was the only superpowered being, I doubt that. I personaly believe Requiem was pulling his strings. I mean, what kind of leader charges into unknown territory to fight and take over. It seems more like a job you allocate to an army of soldiers and you go in after you have a secure foothold.

So I think someone in Axis Amerika is looking for his lost weapon.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The 5th Column contacted them, not the other way around. As much as they need troops, I don't think Requiem would've allowed a constant link between the two worlds, probably because he feared another version of himself or another version of a higher ranking Nazi coming over into his territory and taking over. They were, most likely, simple troop retrieval efforts.

As for Reichsman being the only being on his Earth with powers, if he truly gained his powers the way Statesman did, then I wouldn't doubt it if he killed off anyone more powerful than himself, including any versions of our 5th Column, like Requiem. To remain unchecked, he would have had to remove any threat to his position of power.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Good points. But based on the first dimensional arc where it's revealed they can pin point dimesional corrdinates and more accurately with more contacts, anyone power hunger is going to be looking.

And I'm not saying in it's Requiem, but we've seen how Tyrant rules. I'm betting that Reichsman reports to someone. He doesn't so much appear to be a ruler as a military enforcer. Sorta like our Statesman, just working for a different goverment.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Going on the idea that the only difference between Primal Earth and Axis Amerika is that Marcus Cole was a Nazi before gaining his powers, presumably the same way, if America lost the war but continued the same course our world did, there would probably be a Sister Psyche, Backalley Brawler, possibly even a Raymond Keyes as an up-and-coming scientist, but no Synapse or Miss Liberty. Maybe a Numina. Anyway, with the course of the world following the same basic series of events as our own, set in a Nazi-controlled America, there should, conceivably, be more super humans. The fact that none followed him through suggests that there aren't. If there were, wouldn't the military want them under their thumb, too? If Reichsman was allowed to kill them, it's because no one has the power to stop him.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's sorta what I thought. Reichsman simply killed anyone like that. Back Alley Brawler would never have started his war on drugs with the regulators. Manticore is either an orphan of privlege or doesn't exist depending when his parents were killed there. Psyche might have been afraid to stick her head out with Reichesman walking around. Etc.

Whatever the case, he never struck me as their absolute ruler.

Someone's gotta' break Reichsman out of his cell, and he most likely had access to a lot of important numbers as a Freedom Phalanx member.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That makes me wonder, Lord Recluse hates Statesman, would that hate expand to alternate versions of Statesman? Would Lord Recluse see an evil Statesman (Like Reichsman or Tyrant) as a threat or ally? I mean, in a one-on-one fight, Recluse is a half-notch below Statesman (Comic book fight based), and I doubt Tyrant or Reichsman would share the world with Recluse.

Always makes me wonder how Lord Recluse would view his heroic double from the Preatorian's world, and what his name would be (Lord Auger maybe? and I used Thesaurus.com to come up with that :P )

    [/ QUOTE ]

Tyrant wouldn't abide sharing power with Recluse, as he was constantly at odd with both Neuron and Anti-Matter on his Earth, so on Primal Earth I doubt he and Recluse could work together. As for Reichsman, we don't know anything about him. He's a super powered Nazi version of Statesman, who may or may not have gotten his powers from the well, and may or may not have a Lord Recluse on his Earth. He led the Amerika Korps through Portal Court, and was apparently the only super being in his nation (meaning there weren't any Nazi versions of Miss Liberty or Synapse or anyone on his world that came with him), so he might be territorial as well, meaning he might not work with Recluse. However, he's alone in this world with no real way back home on his own, so allies wouldn't hurt.

Will they change the clue text for the first Clockwork mission, now? It'd be odd if my female spine scrapper still fit the bill as the Clockwork King's assailant.

Also, is anyone else sorta' taken back by the story? Blue Steel outright killed a man, someone he could easily has just disabled and taken into custody. That's dark, even for today's heroes. That, and the fact that Malaise was brain-washed into becoming a hero, sort of darkens the overall feel of the world Paragon's set in.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, Malaise was techincaly had two personalities, one evil, one good, and the evil one was dominate. Sister Psyche surpressed the evil side.

As for Blue Steel, yeah, he's kinda evil now. Everyone! Lets go start an angry mob in Kings Row!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Right, schizophrenic, but what did Psyche do? She constantly used her powers to supress his other personality. They didn't get him professional psychiatric help after that, they just kept Psyche on task to keep him brain-washed, and the moment that link was broken during the task force, he flips out and goes back to being evil.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's a good point, of course, we are assuming that this works for Psychics who's other personality is almost phyical. But Psyche isn't the best person as she has freely admited (okay, that's paraphrased from Hickman's arc) and took over the body of another women to keep on fighting crime. Granted Aurora was honored to hold her, but it also pretty much ruined her mariage for two years. Malaise was greatful to have his evil side surpressed, even if it meant a cnstant link.

Assumption, Sister Psyche is acctualy Mother Mayhem or is only a few steps away from being her.

    [/ QUOTE ]

One of his personalities was greatful, I'm sure, but the other one was pissed off at being supressed, and now that it's dominant again we should all expect him to retaliate, somethin' fierce.

And it's been a while since I fought Mother Mayhem, but is she still Aurora, or have they replaced her with an evil Sister Psyche?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Still Aurora, or as she's called on Preatorian Earth, Nothern Lights.

As for my agrgument, I think you misunderstood. I'm saying Psyche isn't a good person trying to do what she can to help people while being an amazingly powerful Psychic. I think it supports the theory that there are some definate problems within the Phalanx. She has power enough to help Malaise, she decided to use them and did what she thought was right, which in this case senerio probably wasn't the right thing to do.
