Back to the digital with Nuclear Zero, finishing up another 30 minute sketch, this is now about 2.5 hrs. I wanted to make more of his eyes and maybe add his power effects, he's a man of NUCLEAR!! In game it's too much nuclear, here i feel it's not enough, might revisit This btw is my most recent and only 3rd lvl50, so he needed some art i thought

Then i went camping in the mountains, no computer, no digital 30 minute sketches, managed this pencil effort though... I've really got rusty with pencil

Now a gift piece for Caemgen, Blue Boltage. I saw this posted in his thread, as an uncoloured line art by artist EuROPA777, and just wanted to put colours on it. I asked Caem, he said yes, this is how it turned out

Next is not a CoH character, but i call it 'Artificial Girl'. This and Cyborgirl were attempts of 30 minute paintings, which i then spent hours on to finish, lol. The 30 min versions can be seen on my DA link.

Hi guys, gone all art-tastic recently so thought i'd post what i've been doing


First is an old character of mine, my first main actually, Cyborgirl... yep, always had that cyber fasination. She was a sonic/elec blaster before i knew anything about any AT's, and was a great character, shame i deleted her. I was originally planning to add all her tech to the piece (cyber chin, eye reticle, circuitry on face) from in-game, but felt the minimal tech told more of a story...

ok, edit the above, it's not my contacts, it's probably coz i'm quite drunk, i can easily shift the two images to the middle but it just xon't focus, so logic says i'm doing it right, but i'm at fault. I'll try it again tmw with contacts.

ok, here's a weird thing. The time i did it i had my glasses on and it worked. Just now, i have my contacts in, same prescription, but now i can force the image to the centre as before but it's not in focus or in 3D.

You guys not getting it, man up, force your eyes to unfocus! It's not just staring at it, think like your trying to get a laser eyes power to work but you don't know how to. It's like lifting a truck but with your eyes, strain like mad to do it... this probably isn't good optical advice to be fair, but it's the only way i can explain it.

Hey worked for me You have to kind of force your eyes to unfocus, then for me the middle image was totally sharp and in 3D, cool trick

Thanks DD Yeah, for the first few i'm using cat walk models as reference until i get used to figure form, then i can start designing my own. I'm hoping to be able to do some sci-fi designs asap

Well finally i've found some time to dedicate to art again Thought i'd start with some 30 minute painting, as a big problem i've always had is how slow i am at producing anything, hoping this might help me in that area...

I'm going to try and do 1 a day if possible, but i'll only post my first one here as many may not be CoH related. Please do pop in on my DA page tho to see how i'm getting on. Cheers H

You improve with every post you make DD and i think that's brilliant. Your style is now becoming quite recognisable and your talent just continues to grow. Great stuff, keep posting

glad you like ole cap...erm, ole iron, struggling a bit with his second costume to be honest, he's in a boilersuit and cap at the mo... it's not working tho...

This is a great robot Ebon, to me i imagine it's a 20' tall Mech, the whole upper seems like a pod where the driver would sit.

Love the other one you posted in 'best costume...' too, even more actually, kept meaning to comment, and forgetting... now i have... thank you, that is all...

There's a UK show called Rainbow, with a bear called Bungle. He runs about totally unclothed all day, and then puts pyjamas on to go to bed... what are they trying to do to us?
