    Set Bonuses most assuredly *do* apply to Vet Reward attacks. Try 'em and see!

    EDIT: Accuracy & Recharge Set Bonuses work, that is... honestly not sure about Damage, but it's not the damage that's lacking on Vet attacks anyway. Powers like Aim and Build Up also boost Vet attack accuracy and Hasten lowers their recharge. And of course, yellow inspirations and any Defense Debuffs will help with their accuracy also. In short, there's lots of things that can help with Vet attack accuracy, so complaining too much about their 75% base is a little silly.

    EDIT2: Also, as stated in the post you replied to, the lowbie accuracy bonus ("beginner's luck") definitely applies to Vet attacks as well, and it's those levels where you arguably gain the most from having the extra attacks anyway.

    I don't really remember any servers crashing last time around... they were locked out to new logins after they got to a certain number of players, but that's not the same as crashing.

    The Arachnos Helms were from the CoV pre-order, and so didn't cost anyone anything extra (the money paid towards the pre-order was taken off the actual purchase of the game when CoV came out).

    Go ahead; you'll see that what the others have said is quite true. Natural origin characters get the bonus for both the Nemesis Staff and the Blackwand.

    If you have the Thief of Midnight badge from doing Darrin's arc, that's all he has for you. He'll keep saying "come back when you're 20" but that's a bug.

    Thanks! I'd read somewhere that it wouldn't make any sense if you were able to do Ashley's arc before Darrin Wade's (implying Ashley's arc *has* to be 30+), but a lot of confusion seems to exist about the Midnighter arcs, especially villainside. The guide here saying Ashley's arc is 20+ doesn't help with that.

    EDIT: Darrin Wade's arc can't be 25+ either... my level 21 SoA just started it.

    I'm getting the same thing on my newly level 20 SoA. Ashley's listed as an Inactive contact, and when I talk to her she tells me to come back at 30. I did her Origin of Power arc around 15 or 16 or so.

    Calm down, I didn't say it was easy. Just pointing out that "the Devs can't remove badges" isn't exactly a true statement.

Given that we've been told that sales of the Wedding Pack enabled the Dev team to get the VEATs done in time for issue 12, I say anything that brings in additional revenue to allow for more content more quickly is a great thing. As long as it doesn't detract from the actual play experience, I don't see how having real-world advertisements in the same places as the fake ones can hurt, especially since players can turn them off if they don't want to see them. I'll be watching with lots of interest to see how this will pay off for the game.

    Hopefully we'll get info on VEATs this Thursday, but they have already announced one i12 tidbit this week, in the form of the improved character creator, so we might not get anymore until next week.

    Unless something got changed, Hollows covers up to level 20. I know my Rad/rad was getting the end mish for the zone at level 20. Frostfire caps at 15 I believe(diff setting not included), but you still have half the contacts to go in that zone after him.

    The Hollows is a 5-15 level zone. It's just that all of the missions that the contacts give you are all parts of story arcs, and if you've started an arc you'll always be able to get the rest of the missions in that arc, no matter how high a level you are. You must have started the last contact at some point before you hit 16 on that character, or you wouldn't have been able to get missions after that point.

    As I stated in an earlier thread, we are still weeks out from closed beta and more weeks out from open beta and then launch. So, expect to get something on a weekly basis from now till then. If we just dumped it all out now, well we'd be sitting around going "that's nice, but when can I play it?" So, thanks for your patience and understanding that it won't all come at once.

    Yeah, even though knowing how WW changed the mob spawns and mission doors is nice, it's not really much in terms of actual new information.

    Oh, well. Posi and Castle have already talked about some Powerset Proliferation-related stuff in posts, so maybe we'll get lucky with some more "tidbits" than will appear in these weekly official info releases...
