Switch on my laptop and start up city of heroes updater, everything is fine. But as soon as I quit either the updater or the actual game and then decide to open the updater again it won't connect. I have to restart my laptop and then the coh updater will connect, but any subsequent attempts will fail and have to restart my laptop and so it goes on.
Also when I quit the game the updater automatically pops up again. Occasionally it seems to be attempting to download the entire game (either that or an absolutely enormous update).
Hasn't happened before, I'm tempted to assume that it only started happening after the recent update.
Yes I have vista but like I said, was fine before.
Any ideas? Would be nice to not have to restart my laptop every time I want to play coh for a second time.

For some reason I remember reading or hearing that when u buy a larger base plot you get back the prestige you paid for your previous smaller base plot. Is this correct? Or have I got that wrong?

Noticed a female toon wearing thigh high boots but with a (pirate-boot-esque) folded top
To my knowledge this can't be achieved in normal character creation (you can only have EITHER folded OR thigh high boots) - unlockable? Vet reward? Please tell!
