I don't see why anyone's complaining. You can disable them right now in game so you never have to worry about it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And how do you disable them on an inactive account, mmmh?
  2. [ QUOTE ]
All of these settings are configured per character. Characters who have not logged in for over 90 days, regardless of whether they are tied to an active or inactive account, will not be viewable.

It's too bad there's no way to access those options on an inactive account ; I'm not too happy with the two options I have (1: everyone can see my friendlist for the next 2 months, 2: I pay 15$ just to turn those options off).

As others said, hidden by default would be a better choice.
  3. Your numbers for every brute attack are off, I'm guessing you multiply instead of adding (or multiplying from base).

Full fury gives 180% ("real" full fury is almost impossible to get, it locks around 90).
    Enhancements gives ~100%.
    Build up give 80%.

So a full fury brute using BU is at 460% dmg, which means, for example, ET deals 190.18 x 4.6 = 874.74 dmg.
  4. Except you won't be able to see those stalkers with stealth + stealth IO + hide, ever, unless you get outside buffs or pop yellows, and then you'll be able to see them at 10" only (melee range), because of the perception cap.

Final words: YOU ARE NOT A SOLOER.

    [/ QUOTE ]

As your "core powers" miss Blaze, Levitate and Confuse, of course you're going to have trouble soloing...

Picking those 3 up makes soloing easy
  6. Check the date. You're bumping a thread that's 2 years old. At this point, Enhancement diversification didn't exist.
  7. Good guide.

I'm a big fan of fully slotting IOs at lvl 27, if you mix random sets you end up more powerful than with HOs.

    [ QUOTE ]
Of course, that's the danger of this guide. Those level 22s will have to compete with the big dogs with deep pockets. *grin* Fortunately for us, there are those who will refuse to believe you.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Heh, I'm thinking I won't be able to outfit all my lvl 27 with only 2 or 3M anymore.

Brute attacks are subject to the same restrictions as Tanker attacks. They make a check to see if the target is an AV/GM/Hami/Mito/player, and if it isn't, the inherent Taunt effect is applied. If the target is one of those, the Taunt effect is not even applied to the target; t's not a matter of resistance or protection.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This isn't correct. My brutes can hold aggro of 8 +4 AVs 100% of the time, using their aura and nothing else.

My tanker couldn't hold aggro of one +2 AV more than 3/4 of the time, using aura and every attack power I had.

This is my experience since 3 months ago. I always thought tankers were bugged. If they're WAI and brutes are bugged, well... I'm glad my brute is SHOE'd out.
