Well now that I have a new PC that doesn't convulse during teams of 8, nevermind Hami Raids or Rikti Invasions... I'd like to witness one of these events.

That's right, playing since Release and have only been to a couple and each time I basically stared at the image of a mito cell thing for minutes on end only to re-emerge from the convulsion to empty space or a field of dead bodies.

My 13 year old, patched together PC is nearing its end of days. Hopefully new PC purchase in the not-so-distant future and I can play more often myself without City of Lag/Disconnect frustrations.

Fire Shield: 1endred, 3 dmgres
Blazing Aura: 2acc, 2endred, 2dmg
Healing Flames: 2 rchg, 1endred, 3 heal
Temperature Protection: 1 dmgres
Plasma Shield: 1endred, 3 dmgres
Consume: 1acc, 3rchg, 2endmod
Burn: 3rchg, 3dmg
Firey Embrace: 3 rchg
Rise of the Phoenix: 1 endmod (1 heal optional)


Lose Temperature Protection
Fiery Aura should have 2 Acc, 2 EndMod, 2 Taunt (dmg is irrelevant & Fury builds the damage anyways)
Healing Flames = 3 rechrg & 3 Heal (don't worry about the End use, have it come up more often is far more useful)
Burn = if you still use it since it was nerfed a few issues back, the slotting is fine (too many rechrgs IMO) but find yourself a troller that can AOE hold before you drop a Burn patch.

Great Guide! I've levelled 6 brutes of varying Primaries/Secondaries to level 16 because I couldn't choose one to carry on with.

I've been having a blast with my SS/WP and will use this guide.

Nice guide but you may want to rethink skipping Steamy Mist & Tornado. Tornado drops on AOE Held mobs or even immobilized mobs can be very useful for both damage & disorientation.
Steamy Mist is purely worth it for the resist/defense bonuses. Stealth doesn't hurt either.

We're ready for Issue #5 challenges and will not shrink away from them. We run usually 8pm EST to the wee hours. Come check out our website. 2 of the great fire tanks out there on Liberty and I'm sure the game period, that have helped me tremendously over the past year+ with build info & in-game assistance. It's actually a good feeling seeing these tanks that you've SKed in the past, blow by you and help others in the same way.
If I could run the Eden Trial endlessly... these 2 guys would be the top 2 on my team. Why this Trial? Well... they know why...
