IIRC, when I last used my pb vs. Malaise, I activated the power analyzer and discovered that malaise has -res to lethal. I may be falsely remembering, but I think that's how it went.
  2. Desmodos: I aimed for a positional build, but despite my best efforts, I'm still terrible at mids.

Werner: I'll check out the build there, and seeing as I don't have all that many high-rech builds, it shouldn't be an issue for me. As for AoE... I made a broadsword character, so I wasn't aimin for that. >,>

Later that day: I looked at the build, and it looks pretty cool, but I do have somewhat of an issue with some of the power picks personally. I swapped out the first power with Hack instead of slash, since I really really dislike the animation for that power(Yeah, I know, silly nitpicking). Other than that, I'd say my only issue with the build would be cost, but good builds don't come cheap.

No wonder you're having endurance problems. Death Shroud and Cloak of Fear are WAY underslotted for end reduction. Between those two toggles and attacking I bet your end drops in 20 seconds or less.

If I get a chance I'll throw you my BS/DA build. It's soft-capped to melee (with double stacked Parry) softcapped to ranged, and nearly softcapped to AoE. It is also endurance sustainable enough to solo an AV without needing a bunch of blues.

It'll have to wait until I get home though, no Mid's on the work computer. I'll post my build and look at yours a little more thoroughly while I'm at it. Werner would be a good one to ask for advice as well, he has a truly sick Kat/DA (virtually identical as far as slotting choices go)

There are definitely some odd choices in your build though.
All righty, thanks for the feedback, I'd love to check out your build. =)
  4. So I created this BS/DA build, which I've had someone modify somewhat to adjust things, however, I'm hoping to get a more professional opinion on the matter. Also, it may not show up here, but I went for Cardiac Alpha to help with the massive end cost. Thanks. =)

[A side note, I'm pretty renowned as being tear-your-eyes-out-bad at using mids, so look at your own risk.]

We may be able to have EATs access the new tutorial, seeing as the i21 overview page shows a soldier there at the bottom picture. My non-professional guess however, is that it's likely ouro'd since the spider is a crab.

Aye you're reg'd there, but it won't allow me to promote you to officer, because I'm having a lot of technical difficulties with the site. >_<

    So far, I'm thinking colors.

I know this is like the second time I've swapped ATs, but I just keep having ideas I like better.
All righty. And remember to go on the elc.guildportal.com website to check with everyone else as well. =D

EDIT: Bah I this guildportal thing is really annoying, I can't do anything every once in a while because it won't load the page correctly.
  11. All right, since I created this new guildportal site, we'll be using that as communication center, so all you need to do is apply for membership there, and post in the forums as it is shown.

oh and maybe we should start a gp site to keep clutter off here? would make it easier to communicate..
That sounds grand, but I have no idea how to make a gp page myself.

    EDIT: Created one. =D elc.guildportal.com

    /Fa sounds nice. =D
  16. Also, since we'd be cutting things a bit close tonight(Dr. keeps leaving to go some store), I'm planning on our start up date to be officially this next saturday, so one week from today. This extra time will allow additional planning as well as synchronization of schedules.

I am sorry for posting somewhat late, but i am looking to start a new project and saw this thread. So, i am interested in filling the last spot (which appears to be yellow/earth). I have been reading the thread, and like the costume idea very much.

The only problem(s) i run into, would be time. I can play saturday, but i do partake in another theme team on saturday nights. This team starts to gather at 8pm est but does not usually get going till 815-830. I saw an idea of starting at 7pm and ending 830ish. Could the idea of pushing it up a bit sooner, 630/645 work or does the cut into the dinner hour too much. I figure if we start 630pm, allow two hours or so for TF's when needed, we end 830ish. Or would there be a problem if i leave a bit early 815/820ish when applicable. i also partake in theme teams on friday/sunday night starting at 8pm. I am free aduring most of the week, until school starts back in AUG. Then my playtime will get cut drasticly and the saturday time would pretty much be the best time.

The second problem would be i could not start tonight(7/16) due to RL arrangements. But i could a) play catch up, b) start next week, or c) pass all togeather if this sounds too much too work around.

Again, if it sounds like my schedule would not work for the betterment of the group, i understand and am more then willing to pass/withdraw my application.

    ~@PersonaMix

    (edit: color/element mixup)
I'm unaware if we can push back the time to 630, but if no one has any conflictions, we'd be more than happy to have you on the team. =)
  18. All right, I've listed ATs on the original post, as per what people said they would likely be, but if I got yours wrong, please inform me, and I will change it. =D

As you can see, I'm going with Theta for my symbol if that's cool with everyone.
Theta's fine. =D And as for powersets, I was hoping to go for ice/axe Tank myself, and I believe Phoenix was going for plant/emp?(can't recall).

Oh, and I claim Xi. >_>

    Magic origin: np.

Any chance I might be able to use an alternate shoulder piece, maybe Plant w Leaves, to sneak something more "plant-based" in? Again, no big deal, just asking. Here's a sample...

A 1.5 hour or so session each week, with a little leeway at each end, should be enough to get a typical tf or the like in, I would think. Like I said early in the thread, Wednesdays are just tougher for me, I'd still be there sometimes, just more spotty.
The plant pieces are fine. Personalizing is what makes it yours. =D And you can have Phi.

As for the times, we'll try and see if there's not another timeslot we can also get in, to add more to the mix, but we'll avoid any problems with everyone's schedules. =)

I really like the costume, except instead of the tree, we could use a greek symbol, and for the head(keeping the organic thing is fine by me, Just have to find something that would somewhat match for others), you could use a bubble shield(black with white outline) as a visor, just because. >_>

For origin, I was hoping to go magic, to suggest they got their powers induced by some other power in order to protect the city, or something of the sort.

As for times, I suppose we could go from 7EST on Sat to 8:30 EST if everyone is available for it, and as a possible secondary time, we could try and get another time on another day of the week, like sunday or a well-calculated wednesday time.

EDIT: Here's an example of my newer model white:

  22. XD tough luck, eh?

All righty, names should be fine in color format, but we still need a workable time.

And yes the vanguard stuff can be used from lvl 1 if people have the vanguard pack, but that was just a demo costume to be picked apart. =)

EDIT: Oh, and for the resistance gloves, we could have the second color(glowie part) be the character color, to allow more personalization of the gloves.

As for the names, we could go for something like "Champion _____", or if people would like, we could use parts of our globals, such as "Champion Destroyer, Champion Cherry, Champion Phoenix, Champion Elementress, Champion Lucky, Champion Justaris, etc..."
