Hmmm - I'm not really technical - I'm trying to think of other common reasons this could have happened.

I'd like more types of punching, and some proper chops.
-
I've never had a problem with the mothership raids - it would get a little jerky sometimes, but only for a second or two.

What's your monitor resolution? I think you can't have the game at a higher resolution than your monitor.

Samuraiko is quite good as making vids. That one was exceptional. We also have our own quite good movie maker here as well

We do?

A French guy called Aral - know for videos such as this one

Actually, I quite like them - especially the new Roman ones - they look like an old dungeon or crypt - I think it adds variety to the modern and sci-fi maps and city zones.

And for the people saying "Describe to me..." and "Explain...", you're beginning to sound like a bunch of psychiatrists.

Well, someone simply saying that they're not being successful, without saying what ATs or powers they've been using, or what exactly they've been trying to succeed at does need a little more explaination

I thought the word "merge" was banned?
-
When you changed the name, did you do it by right clicking, selecting "properties", then changing the file address bar thing?

If you have two updater files, delete the cohupdater one, and keep the one with the EU part in it.

yeah, the fact he can log in suggests that it's not that issue

He said he could only launch it, not log in... -
Well, first explain what you mean by "not very good"

If you have fun playing them, then they're all extremely good

This sounds like a quite common bug where it tries to download the American version of the game.
To fix it, change the updater from "cohupdater.exe" to "cohupdater.EU.exe" - that should make it launch the proper version. -

my workmates make snarky comments like "geek" or "google boy" or something. Really annoys me.

Do you hit back and curse them in Klingon?
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd be more likely to throw Sindarin at them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, either way, you make them reconsider their harsh words?

All that we are missing is a nice GM and some zone events.
[/ QUOTE ]
I was going to do that, but then I remembered that none of the existing newbie zones have events/GMs so I didn't - I figure the Devs don't want new players getting mown down while they're still new at the game.

That's not quite true - the Kraken is in Perez Park. -

PS: Incase people missed it, NC was weird that it accepted Maestro in the first place.
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, it's pretty weird of a company to want money from their customers all right.

Looking at the CoH marketing, you might think they were reluctant to even find customers

Ahh, I couldn't recall if they were just ghosts in BB or actually part of the same faction - I rarely go there.
