  1. They spawn in every zone at once, unlike the Rikti invasions.
    You'll hear a burt of sinister music, and the sky will turn red - then you'll hear a bubbling sound and they'll crawl up out of the ground.
    They have Minions, Lieutenants, Bosses and EBs - I'm not sure if the Bosses and EBs spawn depending on the size of the group you're with or not, like the Rikti Heavies, or if they just show up near the end of an invasion.
  2. Just checked the American forum - they decided to turn it on early because they love us so much
  3. Yeah - I think that this might not actually be a bug - I think the devs may have wanted to surprise us
  4. Even if you can't get a full team together, you can still get help from others just to fill the required number to start it.
  5. As it's already available for TFs, it would probably be pretty easy to extend it to normal teams too.

    All under 2 hours, easily (Trials = 29 mins personal record, TFs varying)

    so lets say that at 2 hours a TF, 1 hour a trial, not including breaks between...
    That's a total of 13 hours.
    Over half a day.

    if you get home from school/work at 4, and play cox non stop until 12 midnight, that's 8 hours.

    This system isn't unfair on villains, or heroes. if its unfair to anyone, its to the casual gamer who doesn't spend 24 hours a day grinding for something meant as a perk for doing something we'd been doing anyway.

    Yeah, that's what I was wondering about - it seems like a 24 hour pause won't really make any difference to either side - both sides still have far more TFs than anyone should normally be able to complete in a playing session.

    Just an idea. Got a bit annoyed that when I picked up Stealth on my Grav/TA my lovely tango orange Talsorian bow got dimmed to a murky pee-ish colour. Same for Blades would be nice. Can I get a /signed?

  15. I think it's more realistic to be looking at power sets being opened up to other ATs rather than powers getting different looks - power customization is something the devs have said is extremly hard to do.

    I wasn't thinking of the RPers, more of people new to the game who think PvP might be something fun to try out, but then find they die in 2 seconds.

    And this has been an ongoing argument, and i still say those who do go into a pvp zone will take in one of two ways.

    1. Hate it and moan that they died to fast and never come back.

    2.Love it and spend the time an effort into making there toons the best they can in order to do better at it, and imo these are the players we want to come back not the cry babys.

    So making new players last longer will surely reduce the amount of type 1s, and increase the number of type 2s?

    It's a thread about PvP changes, and I'm saying I think they might help encourage new players to take up PvP - you're free to disagree with that point of view though

    Well, don't forget there's this new merit system coming in I13 too, and so far, it's not been said if you can earn them from PvP as well as PvE - so it's possible that changes to make PvP easier combined with rewards for PvP might be a good boost.
