While it's perfectly acceptable for a name, it means effectively "turtle earth," not "divine earth."
Well, "turtle" is ok for a ninja name too

So with that said I want to get away from that, and go totally different.Let the magic begin!
    How about "Lost Equilibrium"?
  3. I think it'd be great if there was some way for a forum account to be created as soon as you logged into the game for the first time, with your global chat handle used as your default forum handle.

And there could be a button somewhere near the chat window that would take players straight to the forum too.

sounds like that would balance out to "neutral"
If "neutral" means "psychotic", then yes
  5. Some feedback:

I like the new thing of being kicked to Atlas when you exit Lord Winter's realm, regardless of which zone you were in when you entered it - everyone ends up in a nice safe zone, and very close to a WW for any cane selling - or the Atlas globe for cane trading.

I like the mechanics of the fight Lord Winter - I think he'll be pretty hard for a single team to take down, but then so is the Hamidon and the Rikti Master At Arms, along with Lusca

The number of snowmen needing to be defeated to spwan the WL is maybe a little too high - but if there's more than one team hunting presents, it should go quite fast.

    They did
  7. I think it might have been better if they'd made the requirement that you paid for 3 months during the 3 month period - like as long as you paid a sub at any time for September, October and November, you'd get the badge - it'd still be 3 months of subs, but it'd allow for breaks between the payment.

I've just spotted a healthy and money-saving idea that's connected to the last part of your sentence

EDIT: Oops, didn't see this had already been suggested

It's graphics aren't that great ( But we're hoping Going Rogue fixes that ), it's engine is dated and it's combat may be a little dated as well.. I also notice many of the servers ( Guardian for instance ) are nearly dead ( Almost empty ) and the most populated servers don't seem to have that many people on them in the great scheme of things.

Recently I had read that CoH released their subscriber numbers for 2009 and it rounded nearly 130,000 people ( Not quite reaching 130,000 - Something more like in the 128's or something, I think. ) and I notice quite a lot of talk.. Well, everywhere.. From CoH players, haters and lovers alike.. Frankly I'm worried for the game..

It'd be nice if NCSoft staff could answer this, but I don't hold my breath for that.. My question is.. How much is actually riding on the release of Going Rogue being successful? If it's unsuccessful, is that it? Are we looking at dealing with another Dungeon Runner or Tabula Rasa? I hope the game will be okay, but.. At the moment from looking at subscription numbers, discussion and the facts.. It looks kind of grim.
The answer to your question is "yes, it will be ok"
  11. As far as I know, they said that you can be invited to teams, even if you can't get the contatcs yourself.
  12. That's so awesome - the fireplace looks amazing

I think he is a genuine monarch - all royal families had to start somewhere
"Emperor"/"King" is just a fancy title for a dictator - Recluse could call himself King of the Rogue Isles if he liked - it still wouldn't change the way he ruled.
Also, Nemesis even made himself Emperor of the Americas once - and in the dimension whre we meet Nemesis Rex, he actually became king of the whole world

That's not a problem anymore - since I16, AE farming has totally dropped off, and even when a few people still farm it, the new difficulty settings mean they don't need fillers now.
Farming and PLing has moved back to Peregrine Island.

But you could politely suggest that the 5th Column gladiator badge tied to the first year anniversary badge shoud be awarded to players with 2 or more of any of the anniversary badges instead

I'm not sure - I think there'll be something for them - but all they've said so far is that Rogues and Vigilantes can't get missions until they've fully changed to the other side.

  20. Broadcasting is just about the only way, I think - I've met quite a few new and newish players who didn't even know the forums existed

And as they seemed to have co-op content at only 35+, their only choice was to put the co-op AE building in the RWZ or Cimerora, which would have been even worse
But now that they've scrapped that limit on co-op content, there doesn't really seem to be any reason why the co-op AE building has to be in the RWZ now.

I think all it means is that when they were designing the game, they coded the difficulty slider to affect all missions - so trying to make a new slider that only affects TFs is probably not so easy.
  23. Ooh, I should be around for that - hope the under he map bug has been fixed
