They just come up with a mechanism for it that's never really explained.

The fact that you will automatically be teleported to the hospital means that you can never create a narrative with a true level of threat in this game... unless you just ignore the mechanism and its underpinnings.
Well, we sometimes end up in a jail - but that's not really too terrible

  5. The 1-20 content is the Praetorian storyline - there's been nothing said yet about what sort of content is involved for Heroes and Villains who switch sides - all we know is that it isn't easy, and it's "not a lightswitch".

Only from starting as a Paretorian - EATs can still switch sides.

Until we see more, I am still operating under the assumption that Praetoria is nothing more than Goatee Earth.
Even though the devs at Hero Con said the new version of Praetoria isn't a goatee version?

And your Mother Mayhem example is actually arguing that there IS nothing good about these people, if you can still call them that, because if we're going with the established Praaetorians from the PI arc, her patients had nothing mentally wrong with the before they were 'admitted'. They simply broke because she find Torture an entertaining pastime.

So we have a mass-murdering power hungry pedophile, and a Someone who breaks peoples minds out of boredom. Exactly where's the ambiguity here?
That they've saved the majority of the human race from total destruction?

You can - when you make a Praetorian, you can use any of the non-Epic ATs, and then join either Tyrant (villain) or the Resistance (hero).

Golden Girl, the post I made here was actually intended mainly for you. I'd like to see your opinion of the ideas in there.
I think you're being a bit too black and white there

Evil doesn't have to be insanely evil to still be evil.

For example, the four Darths seen in the Star Wars saga were evil, but they weren't all on the same level of evilness.

So Tyrant can approve of the deaths of 90% of superpowered Praetorians, becasue it's for the greater good, in his eyes - while Mother Mayhem can be openly sadistic to her "pateints" in the asylum, for no other reason than she enjoys it - but they're both still evil.

confirming the release of Dual Pistols 5 months and Demon Summoning 4 months before GR goes live if you pre-order the $29.99 digital only expansion I now stand corrected, holding my sign stating loud and clear saying "I WAS WRONG, AND YOU WERE RIGHT!"

*goes off to stuff face with some more humble pie*
I've decided not to post the YouTube clip I had for this

Multiple new zones, lots of story arcs, and a new endgame system?

The "epic new storyline" covers 1-20 - and you get to pick loyalist (villain) or Resistance (hero) almost from the start, as Positron said you can start making choice in the new tutoial.
But that's just for the people who start off in Praetoria, for existing Heroes or Villains above 20, I'm totally sure there's going to be some 20+ content to allow them to switch sides, as the 1-20 seems to be designed around the idea that you're a Praetorian, rather than a visitor from another dimension.

I mean, they have already announced how much they want us to pay for it.
Some of us, are considering buying both because of one thing or another.
Why is it they are asking for money before actually informing us what is *in* GR?
It's a single zone, with content covering levels 37-40.

Depends on what you mean by "doppelganger" - a doppelganger could be an alien or magical creature that can absorb and use the power of any opponent - it could be a creature with no look of its own - for example, a blank avatar with a reflective texture making use of the new ultra mode setting.
It could have no personality, and never speak a word - it could just copy the powers of its target, then use them to attack.

  23. Following on from what I said before about loyalists still being able to go to Paragon City, even after chosing to serve Tyrant, here's an interesting quote from Positron:

    Quote:
When Praetorians leave Praetoria for Primal Earth, they choose if they want to be considered a Hero or a Villain, and are plopped into Paragon or the Rogue Isles.
So even if you've helped Tyrant, you can still chose to go to Paragon City - because as far as you're concerned, what you've done is right, so it's only natural that you'll want to go to a place where heroes are welcomed, because that's what you are in your own mind.

But if you've beens erving Tyrant for your own ends, then chosing the Rogue Isles would be a better option, as Recluse's style of government matches what you're used to in Praetoria - the strong rise to the top.
