Slightly easier to understand than Resistance-speak, but still not that much better

Why have something that ugly and impractical when you can have normal clothes that are skintight?

Socks, tights, stockings, leggings, riding pants, jeans, gym leotards, t-shirts, normal tops, mini-skirts, mini-dresses - there's just so much real clothing you can pick from without needing to use a can of stringly plastic foam if you want something tight

It just means the future of Paretoria is cloudy

I've not met Desdemona yet, but Maelstrom is certainly one of the weakest signature characters - the first time I met him on Neuron's tower, he was down to half health before he'd even finished twirling his guns

Quote:The idea of punching Defender repeatedly in the face does have a certain attractionI heard from a very unreliable source that I20 will be the first crossover issue with the other superhero MMOs. It'll be horrendously buggy and serve almost no purpose except to tick off another box in the "things comic book superheroes do" column, but it'll be worth it. Mmmhmm.

It was weird to see some of the stuff that got picked up and thrown to the wrong places

Quote:That's a pretty good effort to come up with the craziest CoH conspiracy theory, but I think the "GR is part of a plan by NCSoft to shut the game down" one is still in first placeYou do realize that you are being manipulated into thinking there has been a massive amount of more people playing the game. Along with Going Rogue they introduced the Queue system. This system pre-fills each server with an alotted amount of imaginary logins so that people will be able to queue their way in if the server is grayed out red (which was only on the day of GR). There's two advantages to this system, one as the already mentioned being able to login eventually once the server is full to the brim. The other is that it makes the servers "look" like they are fuller than they are, this makes people believe that there are actually people to play with so that they will login in hopes of teaming and such. If the servers used to be green before they are now yellow, unless there is absolutely NO one on that server in which it will be green for the NPCs, if they are red then they used to be yellow.
Yeah sure the game probably has picked up a few more subs but it's more of the old crowd that used to play this game, how much is a game with dated looks and graphics going to attract new customers? Wouldn't the fitness gimmick have been smarter to introduce new players to with the "expansion" since they wouldn't realize the fitness pool was necessary anyways? It's great that there's a whole new tutorial zone for the few new subs they got but I'm sure those that have played this game for so long would have liked to have seen an addition to what they can do with their 50s instead of "later".
AE was a dumb idea, sure it sounds neat and all but it's just too much time management for them to correct abusable stuff. If it wasn't a bad idea how come there isn't any AE buildings in Praetoria, they've been trying to lower the amount of content that they have to produce by automating it with player created content but that seemed to be too abusable. PvP changes in theory were needed but the practicality of them don't match what common sense would tell you.
They seem to be so out of touch from their playerbase it's almost as if these guys haven't been running this game for the past 6 years. Before these guys get another bad idea I'm going to let someone else prove how bad they are, at least it will be better looking crap if it is bad. It's good that they have suckers like you to rely on, what would they do if they had a game full of people that took the time to learn and comprehend what was going on.
Oh and DR to PvE is my crazy theory because it makes the most sense with all the hush hush stuff. They weren't satisfied with just killing off PvP they are going to try to do it to PvE, but this time they will listen and keep all of the suckers pumping their monthlys into a losing game.

I'm not a numbers person, or an expert on powers, so I don't really have much idea exactly what DR is - all I know is that post-I13, I was getting held a lot less in PvP, so I only have positive feelings about it

I don't think new ways of animating our avatars would really need a signed NDA

It'd have to be something controversial, or very innovative, I think. -
Sound would help with that - a lot of things in the game don't sound very heavy when they fall over or break up.
A good example would be the 3 subs you destroy in Faultline - they don't sound like huge chunks of metal being torn apart, and the sound of you hititng them doesn't even sound metalic.
Also, the Kronos Titan sounds the same as a Clockwork Prince when it falls over
EDIT: The Kronos Titan should really fall over with a massive boom along with a screen shake, and then give a 3-5 second warning to get clear, similar to the warning about Protean's signature power, and then explode, causing another screen shake and leaving burning debris everywhere - sort of like the AT-ATs blew up when they were tripped by the tow-cables. -
