Actually, looking at his other posts, it doesn't seem to be much of a secret identity

She might just be doing that to try and annoy you though - she is still half a Villain, after all
-
Ooh, is your location a hint of your superhero identity?
-
Silent Balde seems to change her mind with every mission she's on - she's not a very reliable example
-
Well, the name Superman does that too - and uses fewer words too
-
Well, there's also the option of making enough bugs so that players can't reach the content gaps in the first place
-
Well, I wouldn't have minded if it was paid-for - but free works just as well

EDIT: Do you have any hints about it that you could drop for us?
-
That has to be one of the vaguest descriptions for any kind of comic book character
-
It's the use of the word "pack" instead of "patch" that makes it sound like it might be less than free
-
But isn't the entire Incarnate system already a massive slap in the face?

But surely it'd be worth the money just to make a screenshot of a cyborg hawk-person with fairy wings, a wolf tail, steampunk armor, a pink diaper and the playing card aura using /e airguitar on a tiny floating rock in the Shadow Shard just to show that this game allows players to do things other games don't?

Actually, it is

So Rameil's arc introducing the entire Incarnate concept, inclduing hints about the future and the Coming Strom isn't a major part of the Incarnate storyline?Quote:Needing to run an arc that was actually a major part of the story at the time/=/needing to grind for hours to make an AO.
And there's no grind invovled in filling your Alpha slot - run one ITF and you're almost certain to get everything you need for it.
Tyrant has some form of control over the Well of the Furies - he's using it to weaken any Heroes who haven't started on the Incarnate path as part of his invasion plans, so only heroes who have started on the Incarnate path can face his invasion forces and save the world.Quote:Theres a difference between locking an area as part of a story and gear gating. For example in LOTRO you could not enter Moria untill you advanced that part of the story. This is not the same as being killed instantly in the watcher raid if you hadn't spent 5 months getting radiance gear.
That's the whole point of that send-off at portal Corp - the Freedom Phalanx and Vindicators who are gathered there aren't able to do what you're about to do - the Menders or Ouroboros have started you on a journey that will take you to a level beyond the signature characters. -
-
The ITF is already gated content - you need to run an arc to get access to Cimerora.
-
It'd need at least one Villain to make it work

Quote:The Incanrate content requires no purples or IOs of any kind - you just need to run Mender Ramiel's arc, then collect 12 Shards of 3 components for the 1st tier Incarnate enhancement, and then you've got access to the 2 new TFs.I don't see how that was a doom post.
The game isn't going to end because of it. It'll just become less fun for those who want to experience the unfolding story of the game without purpling out and doing tons of incarnate stuff just to be allowed to unlock it.
The moment you hit 50, you can go to Ouroboros and run the arc, which takes 30-45 minutes, then go to the RWZ and buy one component with 150 Vangaurd Merits, then run an ITF, which will give you a 2nd component, plus several Shards from the enemies you defeat during it, with a good chance of getting 4 or more Shards from it, which chould take 60-90 minutes, and will allow you to craft the 3rd component you need.
From the moment you hit 50 to getting your first Incarnate enhancement takes less than 3 hours, requires no IOs of any kind, and only needs you to team once.
