There's also "cast" - but with some of the CoH powers, casting them actually makes more sense than using/activating them

Do they? I must have missed the Vanguard arcs that send Villains to Praetoria to attack random targets.

On the other hand, their dependance on the sonic fences is their own doing, and that's not our responsibility.
We're there to set the Praetorians - our war is with Tyrant, not with the people he's enslaved - that's why the Incarnate Trials have us attacking the various instruments of repression and conquest used by the dictatorship, and not randomly attacking everything and everyone in Praetoria City.

We don't have to rely on the holy trinity, in fact we laugh at it.

We don't have skills, we have powers.

We don't have adds, we have ambushes.

This isn't another game, this is City of Heroes/Villains/Going Rogue.
Don't forget "quests" and "dungeons" - although technically, the CoT maps could be counted as dungeons

  8. I'd guess another 12-24 - although 10-20 might be novel

Well, you're not being forced to run the Trial - it's heroic content that you can choose to help with if you like, or you can go run an SF or something else that lets you twirl your moustache

    To impress Dominatrix however...

Still, I'd like Anti-Matter to get tossed a bone on this one. I'd like to see Neuron fail spectacularly only through fault of his own and see Keyes get some measure of praise for keeping the Sonic Barrier up (even though we know it was never the Primals' intent in the trials to take 100% of the power generation offline).
Well, the recent bit of fiction to introduce the Paretorian invasion event said that Anti-matter was going to try to "spoil" Neuron and Tyrant's plans in some way - so I think he might be going to do something semi-rogue-ish in this Trial

Like Anti-matter could have deliberate weak security to lure us in to an attack, with the intention to bait Neuron into coming over to fight too, as he'd would know Neuron would want another chance to show up Anti-matter's incompetence - but then Anti-matter would sabotage Neuron's efforts to defeat us, and then turn up himself to save the day and discredit Neuron's ability to protect Neutropolis.
  15. I wonder what we'll need to do to cripple the power supply for the portals without harming the sonic fences?
  16. It seems to give both kinds of IXP too, going by what the intro says.
  17. I just saw the first three words of the thread title, and read it as "weeklong stream", and thought you were going to do something epic on UStream

Actually, that's more of an addition than a retocn - Grredo shooting first is a retcon, because it changes something that was already established - but midichlorians were just an extra layer of detail - they didn't actually change anything that had already been established - they just gave an explaination for something that was previously unexplained.
