  2. There's also the possibility that they might be planning similar purchasable travel powers, like fire slide, ice slide, water slide, light slide, smoke slide, and so on, and that the power slide mightn't really be needed after that, especially if the new sldies were tintable.

  7. And even if she is a bit tougher, that'll probably be balanced out by whoever is brought in to replace Statesman - even if it's a new character created by the players.

While the leaked SSA 2 info on beta seems to suggest that Sister Psyche is gone - or at least, not a part of the Phalanx anymore - the comics have shown that she and Manticore have been know to work together to set up a situation where he appears to harm her in order to trick a major villain - so the events of part 6 mightn't be as straight forward as what we saw in part 5.
  9. I've never had to fight Sister Psyche, but do red siders think replacing her with Penny in the LRSF will make it harder, easier, or much the same?

    It's only really related to that storyline because Diabolique is originally from Praetoria - the DD Trial actually has much more of a connection to the First Ward storyline than to the Praetorian war storyline.
    Diabolique being Praetorian doesn't really change the DD Trial in any way, as it's not vital to the story - unlike the other 6 Trials where the Praetorian connection is the whole reason that they exist.
    Swapping out Diabolique for, say, Mortimer Kal would have zero impact on the Trial or its story.

    Widow Maker arc--Magic ritual goes horribly wrong, nearly killing the player character protagonist.

    Well. At this point, even Flambeaux can figure that when someone says, "Hey, let's try out this magic ritual to try and accomplish _______," the proper response is, "NO."
    Actually, going by the examples above, the majority of the rituals worked exactly as intended for the person creating them.
  17. I'm hoping that some of that leaked tech on Beta will be able to be used for future Trials to add a temp power tray for the things like Lambda and Keyes.
